I heard them both first on the Absolute Music 64 compilation - always amazing for new Swedish discoveries :wub: Längesen is stunning, I love the melody, the piano is gorgeous as is Veronica's voice when she's not being 'chipmunked'.

 

:kink: Possibly not, it would turn out that it's the grower of the year! This time last week I only liked the singles and the Kylie song, and now the Kylie song's not even in my top five of the album!

I think I love anything Rihanna releases to be honest :lol: She does generic urban dance like no other! Yeah, I'm a fan of this KoL song actually - I thought Sex On Fire was foul in all honesty but I loved the other singles from Only By The Night.

 

Stromae is still amazing -_- Up to #19 on iTunes, the UK are starting to take note :w00t:

I got off Kylie's new single for now. :( The video didn't help to regain popularity at all too. I think it'll re-grow on me when it gets more hype publically.

Indeed, the Petter song is oddly like the sort of stuff that does well in the UK with the rap male verses/singing female chorus, except it's in Swedish. The combination of only wanting Shame to have a week at #1, plus hearing Get Outta My Way on the radio, and the video effect obviously all combined to propel her to another #1 :D I'm also fairly intrigued to hear the Flo Rida version of Higher. I never listen to the solo version of Bad Boys, his is much better. I have to disagree about F*ck You, I definitely don't like it because of the language - it's the perfect combination of sombre lyrics combined with a cheery melody, which makes it strangely uplifting - I really like it! Has hit written all over it. See I've never been that much a fan of Nelly but this song is really great. It should be generic but it's a lot better. Agreed about Teenage Dream, I probably shouldn't have peaked it as high as #4 either, it didn't deserve that, considering some of the songs that have peaked at #5 or 6 this year for me which I love so much more. I think it was obvious Ironik would enter! Although his success hasn't been as instant as it has on your chart! Agreed about Miami 2 Ibiza, should be massive - it will climb higher as soon as I acquire a version which doesn't cut off at 1:50 :heehee: I like Brandon's album, even moreso considering it only cost me £3.99 to download! But I much prefer Killers' Day & Age album. The Selena song is decent! So much better than the weak and nothingy Round & Round imo.

I think Robyn's Hang With Me may skim the Top 20, but I wouldn't be surprised if it's lower than that. I was shocked when DOMO actually went Top 10.

It's nice to see The Ting Tings are still managing to climb amongst all the new entries!

Brandon Flowers' album is not bad, but certainly it has nothing on any of The Killers albums. The album feels like a mess of everything and has a lack of direction.

Thanks West, I always had a gut feeling I had unfinished business with Get Outta My Way, it's definitely of #1 quality for my chart the amount I've listened to and loved it, it just got blocked by All The Lovers at its peak first time around. I agree with you on Robyn, I wouldn't be shocked if it went anywhere between about 15-30 to be honest...DOMO dropped out incredibly quickly too :(

 

Yep, Hands is definitely a big grower!

 

I like Brandon's album although the second half isn't up to much, Crossfire aside - I do enjoy the first half though.

Well Kylie's now reached top twenty in mine, probably another top ten from me. :D I don't think it'll reach top 10 officially due to the competition, but I'd say it's a safe bet for top 15/20. :)

Yep indeed, hope it sells well at least, maybe 150k+, at least it's finally making decent progress on iTunes now :D

 

Of course, although Commander is a Guetta song after all so he's not ripping off himself, just recycling his same old beats over and over :kink: That said, Commander isn't as self copycat as the likes of Club Can't Handle Me, in Guetta terms.

 

I disagree! Escape was gorgeous, I loved it! Mercy Mercy is still their best though. I found Telephone nothing-y and uninteresting.
