Big eecord companies are very slow learners - always trying to buck market trends, rather than embrace them. They should bow to the inevitable & release the song ASAP, both for fininacial & pragmatic reasons. Next week is a very quiet one for new releases, so lesser competition means a higher chart placing.

 

Just goes to show there a lot of ppl don't actually care who sings the (any) song, as long as it sounds like what they hear on the radio/TV.

 

And I don't think Bruno's record company will release this Sunday. They're more likely looking at a way to get the cover removed from iTunes - good luck with that :lol:

I don't know what'll be on the EP, but I think I counted 15 different versions of the song from the list on wikipedia! :o It's like one of Lady Gaga's singles. :lol:

I've not heard it even once on the radio yet, although you do get stations that play random album tracks, so it's probably been played somewhere. It's funny that the first time it gets played on Radio 1 might be on the chart update next week.

I agree it is awful, but there is also 'The Club Is Alive' and 'Dirtee Disco' amongst others...

 

It really is now or never for Bruno Mars- next week is a quiet week, it will get there with ease if released on sunday, if they stick to 4th October, his chance is gone as that week is too competitive

 

I do hope this does get a shot of number 1- its not original, but its really good and likeable at the same time :wub: :wub:

 

I hope something new gets there next week- Alex Gaudino is the only one with a small chance by the looks of things, I really dont want SWY there for a third week :(
