I think dubstep is very trendy now. Some artists need to understand, that if they mix pop with dubstep or drum&bass in their future/current productions - it will be only a win-win for them if they do it qualitatively.

 

dubstep is 2011 full stop. We're already starting to see it have an impact on the charts...all the big artists are going to be using it within the next 18 months. Obviously not FULL ON dubstep, but like you say if you fuse it with some electo or a bit of d&b then it will work very well for the mainstream artists.

 

I guess dubstep is evolving from middle class university students into the big wide world.

I really want it to go top 10. I used to watch the female vocalist's videos on youtube, and I even had a little conversation with her, and now she's all famous and is on a song that's #11 on iTunes! It's so crazy! I really want it to do well.
