September 20, 201014 yr Will Radio 1 playlist though, or will it end up on Radio 2, like VV Brown did. I honestly see no reason why they wouldn't, seeing as they base their playlist on who the artists are and their profile.
September 20, 201014 yr Apparently Radio 1 "are keen" on this song. I'm sure she'll be playlisted and go A-list. She's doing everything right. I just don't see how this song won't be in the top-5 at least.
October 5, 201014 yr Added the official video to the first post. Thanks-I really like the song not too keen on the video she needs to go to Nandos soon. I think she will do a really good live version.
October 5, 201014 yr I agree with most others. It's quite a boring song. It'll definitely go top 10 though, and probably higher.
October 19, 201014 yr Noticed that Cheryl's single was #15 on the iTunes album chart (pre-order). I was curious to see how Nadine's was doing, so I searched for "Nadine Coyle" in iTunes, but nothing came up. However the song is there - she's using her first name only - how stupid is that  In iTunes, you want as many searchable keywords as possible.
October 20, 201014 yr Apparently she refused to perform on X Factor. now why would you do that? probably trying to prove she can be successful without it.. we'll see how that goes down when it's released :P
October 20, 201014 yr ^ or shes scared of going on and not hitting #1, but this way if she doesnt go to #1 she can say oh well cheryl got to #1 because of x factor, blah blah, however fight for this love was flying ahead at #1 well before the x factor performance. I probably doubt that is true, loads of rumours flying around.
October 20, 201014 yr I can really see this struggling to go top 10 now, which pains me (especially as she's so much better than Cheryl and her song is much better too). It's just not receiving any support or backing whatsoever, I've not even heard this outside of my own listening pleasure. :(
October 20, 201014 yr I've heard nothing of this :o - and an XF slot looks very unlikely I change my vote- top 10 if its very lucky
October 20, 201014 yr Apparently she refused to perform on X Factor. now why would you do that? probably trying to prove she can be successful without it.. we'll see how that goes down when it's released :P I've read nothing about her refusing to go on, but rather Cheryl banning her from going on...
October 20, 201014 yr I've read nothing about her refusing to go on, but rather Cheryl banning her from going on... I think Cheryl begged Simon not to let Nadine perform on XF. Besides, Tweedy is performing The Flood on Sunday despite releasing Promise This.
October 20, 201014 yr I think Cheryl begged Simon not to let Nadine perform on XF. Besides, Tweedy is performing The Flood on Sunday despite releasing Promise This. oh my and Radio 1 not playlisting her is Cheryl's fault too right? lol and Cheryl is performing Promise This. October 20, 201014 yr Um, Cheryl can't "ban" anyone from the show. Even Simon Cowell does not have total control over the programme, there are at least 4 exec producers for the various companies involved (ITV, Syco, TBT). It's not even Simon who decides who the judges are - that's a guy called Richard Holloway. He's the person with most of the power really. Simon Cowell is simply the "public face" of the boss, behind the scenes it's far more complicated than what Simon says, goes. Edited October 20, 201014 yr by spkx
