September 19, 201014 yr Author Rich, here's what I like: 1. Nadine Coyle - Insatiable (NEW) (CR-1) :) 2. Stromae - Alors On Danse (2) (CR-41-39-25-18-12-9-8-9-13-17-OUT-19-12-23-18-14-15-3-6-1-2-1-2-2-2) Longest Runner 3. Kylie Minogue - Get Outta My Way (1) (CR-3-2-4-4-7-10-11-12-10-9-1-3) 8. We've all been waiting for so long to her Nadine do solo work and she didn't disappoint. Let's hope it does well for her. Alors on Danse could give Satellite a run for it's for your top song this year. It's having an incredible run on here. I find Promise This is kind of a mess, but still catchy and clever enough to appeal. Great chart as always! Thanks West :D Yes indeed, it's a great song, I absolutely love it and did from the first listen! Alors On Danse has definitely done brilliantly over the year and has hung around far longer than anything else. My end of year top 6 will be very close, although there is a distinct pack at the top. 7 and below are nowhere near as good as the top 6. I can see what you mean about Promise This but I love that it's a bit different! 1. Nadine Coyle - Insatiable (NEW) (CR-1) 2. Feat Rivers Cuomo - Magic (NEW) (CR-48) 50. Yolanda Be Cool & D Cup - Gypsy Moves (NEW) (CR-50) Wow @ Nadine! It's areally great debute single! Thanks Nick. Indeed it is! What I say now may seem strange for an Englishman, but I have to say it. As far as I associate all of the Spice Girls on their behalf (Mel C is a great singer, I love "First Day Of My Life" and "The Moment You Believe"), from the Girls Aloud I actually only know well Cheryl. In this moment I`m reminded Nadine is also from GA! I couldn`t remember, it seemed to me that she`s from. .. PCD. Understand, this is Poland. I`m afraid it won`t change. :( It `s a pity, because "Insiatiable" is quite good. What can I say? Old Polish comedy song says "Everybody can sing, sometimes better sometimes worse". The actor, who sang it, Jerzy Stuhr (also knowed as Shrek`s Donkey`s voice), terribly tampered. It was 30 years before Kesha, Rihanna, and Lady GaGa. Some songs are forever young... I guess GA aren't that well known outside the UK, apart from Cheryl. Whereas the Spice Girls were big all over the world. Haha, yep it's not always the quality of the vocals that count but how big the personality is sometimes! 1. Nadine Coyle - Insatiable (NEW) (CR-1) can't wait to see the video for this 3. Kylie Minogue - Get Outta My Way (1) (CR-3-2-4-4-7-10-11-12-10-9-1-3) Kylie    5. Robbie Williams & Gary Barlow - Shame (3) (CR-6-1-3-5) I love robbie's stuff but i'm kind of a bit meh on this at the moment, hope i get into it. 8. Cheryl Cole - Promise This (NEW) (CR-8) the dance routine in the vid for this is brill 10. Michael Bublé - Hollywood (18) (CR-18-10) 13. Pixie Lott - Broken Arrow (15) (CR-42-19-15-13) must check this one out 16. Cee-Lo Green - f*** You (22) (CR-31-30-22-16) 20. Hurts - The Water (23) (CR-23-20) 21. Brian McFadden feat Delta Goodrem - Mistakes (14) (CR-32-27-OUT-36-14-21) must check this one out also 23. Ed Drewett - Champagne Lemonade (19) (CR-37-19-23) brill song 31. Rihanna - Only Girl (In The World) (35) (CR-35-31) ive had it stuck on repeat, brill. although i do like 'dark rihanna' too :) 33. Hurts - Stay (17) (CR-17-33) 34. The Ting Tings - Hands (25) (CR-45-35-25-34) 43. Charlotte Church - Back To Scratch (NEW) (CR-43) i'm kinda digging this, very simplistic, nice :) 44. James Blunt - Stay The Night (NEW) (CR-44) Bubbling Under > Kelly Rowland - Forever & A Day > Taylor Swift - Mine > Marina & the Diamonds - Shampain > Ellie Goulding - Lights > The Wanted - Heart Vacancy Thanks a lot for replying :D Yep, the Insatiable video will hopefully be great, Cheryl's video is indeed very good :D

September 21, 201014 yr Hey, my (slightly late!) comments for this week: 1. Nadine Coyle - Insatiable (NEW) (CR-1) An entry at number one?! :o I thought it was a little bland sadly, and it sounds almost the same as the first Laura White single to my ears 8. Cheryl Cole - Promise This (NEW) (CR-8) This is fantastic, and a grower too, I was a bit confused by it on first listen, but after my third listen I love it  19. Sharon Corr feat Alex Ubago - Buenos Aires (NEW) (CR-19) I listened to previews of the album, wasn't really something I'd buy, good to see you liked it though! 36. Emma's Imagination - This Day (36) (CR-36-36) I heard she won? I've yet to see the final, it's on my Sky+ but I was hoping either one of her or Peper & Piano would win 39. Hope feat Jason Mraz - Love Love Love (NEW) (CR-39) Agnes cover? :o :kink: 43. Charlotte Church - Back To Scratch (NEW) (CR-43) Not heard this yet, what's it like? 44. James Blunt - Stay The Night (NEW) (CR-44) Another one I've yet to hear, his last album was awful so I hope this is an improvement! 50. Yolanda Be Cool & D Cup - Gypsy Moves (NEW) (CR-50) Pretty good, could do with a bit of a remix/re-edit if it's going to get a UK release though

I love it :D I really liked that Laura White single too though actually  I'm a big fan of the big brassy sound. 8. I loved it from the off, as I have done with all of Cheryl's singles...maybe I'm a loon :drama: 19. I think it's a gorgeous album, basically a Corrs album without the other three, she hasn't exactly had a change of direction or anything  36. Apparently so. P+P were supposedly crap in the final and went out early. She has a new song out now called Focus which is #2 in the midweeks, I bought it but I don't yet remember how it goes after about 5 listens  39. No :heehee: that would have been funny though! 43. Very different to her 2005 stuff, laidback but with a decent chorus imo. 44. Indeed, although I'm not sure whether I want to buy the album seeing as the last was so bad. I've literally just noticed that songs called Stay The Night, Butterflies and Love Love Love have all entered my chart on the same week, yet none are covers  50. Yeah I agree, although I do like it a lot in this form. It needs to be a bit punchier probably.

I got bored of the first two pretty quickly. 36 - Number 2 :o . Hmm, I wouldn't be surprised if the rest of her stuff I quite bland - This Day isn't that striking either tbh. 43 - Sounds interesting, althought I quite liked her last album, I'm glad she's moved on from the trashypop 44 - :heehee:, that's quite a funny coincidence. I probably won't bother with the album unless I see it for a pound somewhere  . 50 - Yeah definitely. It needs a bit more oomph if it's to get noticed.

I think I'm more happy that she's done this - mainly because it doesn't really sound anything like GA and definitely has her 'solo' stamp on it :D 8. I still love all of them, I really think that 3 Words gets so much hate on here it's bizarre, it's a really clever little pop tune considering it's mainstream. Hardly 'ear rape' as it's so nicely put my the majority of BuzzJack  36. Quite possibly, they're all very simple songs that take a while to stick I agree. 43. I loved her last album actually but yeah, times have moved on so I guess she felt she had to as well. 44. generous! I'm sure it will hit the bargain bins in no time, although I'm really shocked it managed to go top 40 :o Hello there, once again! :D This weeks review! ^_^ 1. Indeed, the James Blunt song is a nice change from him! Hope is a new US singer I guess, she reminds me of Colbie Caillat a bit vocals wise. Glad you liked a couple of the Sharon songs, Buenos Aires is definitely the best on the album - really gorgeous, and I do like a good Irish instrumental! Although nothing will beat Toss The Feathers and Erin Shore by The Corrs in those terms.
September 22, 201014 yr 1. 44. generous! I'm sure it will hit the bargain bins in no time, although I'm really shocked it managed to go top 40 :o 01 - Fair enough. I'm hoping Nicola will release a solo album, should be a pretty interesting listen! 08 -, no I quite like 3 Words, but got bored of it pretty quickly. I'm really looking foreard to her new album though, Promise This could well become one of my absolute favourites songs of the year! 43 - Moodswings was my favourite track on that album, but nothing has topped her Jurgen Vries collaboration

Definitely, although I like Nadine's voice the most in term of 'the voice of Girls Aloud', almost the hallmark of their music, Nicola definitely has the most interesting voice. 8. That's great to hear, it will probably move into my top five this week, I haven't really decided much about my chart so far, I've been so busy  43. Agreed. The Opera Song was a #1 in my chart  Her highest solo hit for me probably was Moodswings, although the album track Show A Little Faith actually got to #3 for me :o

Moodswings would have been her biggest solo single on my chart too definitely - I have always liked it considerably more than the other 3 singles.

That said, I can't really imagine her solo career being that successful, she's not like Cheryl 'nation's sweetheart' Cole :( She's quite iconic for her fashion/style and make up these days I think, but I'm sure she'd love a solo career too. 8. That's the boring part, typing it up :drama: I usually write it in my little 'chart book' on Thursday and type it and post it on either Thursday or Friday. 43. It's quite nice, I've heard it used in the backing to a few TV programmes in the past oddly. I did love Crazy Chick but I don't recall charting it that high - Call My Name was a bit average and Even God was nice but again, didn't peak high for me.

Yeah she's doing pretty well with her make up range which is good, but I want an album! 08 - It takes me about an hour to type up my chart which isn't too bad, but I find I have to be in a certain mood to do it. 43 - Call My Name has oddly become an anthem amongst my friends, but yeah it isn't a huge favourite of mine. Did you chart any of her early classical stuff? I think I charted Just Wave Hello and Dream A Dream iirc
September 23, 201014 yr The more I listen to the Cee Lo track me love, its a classic motown track in the making, just reminds me of Jackie Wilson throwback hit, "Your Love Keeps Lifting Me (Higher & Higher)" without the swear words. :heehee: I'm so addicted to it now I just can't get it outta my head :D

Indeed, it's quite tiring sorting out the chart runs and such :drama: 43. No I didn't  The first song I charted by her was The Opera Song! The more I listen to the Cee Lo track me love, its a classic motown track in the making, just reminds me of Jackie Wilson throwback hit, "Your Love Keeps Lifting Me (Higher & Higher)" without the swear words. :heehee: I'm so addicted to it now I just can't get it outta my head :D It's really great, one of the biggest crossover hits of the year I think. Will appeal to people who like all genres.
