Alors On Danse has definitely done brilliantly over the year and has hung around far longer than anything else. My end of year top 6 will be very close, although there is a distinct pack at the top. 7 and below are nowhere near as good as the top 6. What I say now may seem strange for an Englishman, but I have to say it. As far as I associate all of the Spice Girls on their behalf (Mel C is a great singer, I love "First Day Of My Life" and "The Moment You Believe"), from the Girls Aloud I actually only know well Cheryl. In this moment I`m reminded Nadine is also from GA! I couldn`t remember, it seemed to me that she`s from. .. PCD. :lol: Understand, this is Poland. I`m afraid it won`t change. :( It `s a pity, because "Insiatiable" is quite good.

 

What can I say? Old Polish comedy song says "Everybody can sing, sometimes better sometimes worse". The actor, who sang it, Jerzy Stuhr (also knowed as Shrek`s Donkey`s voice), terribly tampered. It was 30 years before Kesha, Rihanna, and Lady GaGa. Some songs are forever young...

Thanks Freeze, nice to see you made a handful of discoveries at least. Indeed, the James Blunt song is a nice change from him! Hope is a new US singer I guess, she reminds me of Colbie Caillat a bit vocals wise. Glad you liked a couple of the Sharon songs, Buenos Aires is definitely the best on the album - really gorgeous, and I do like a good Irish instrumental! Although nothing will beat Toss The Feathers and Erin Shore by The Corrs in those terms.

1. I think I'm more happy that she's done this - mainly because it doesn't really sound anything like GA and definitely has her 'solo' stamp on it :D

8. I still love all of them, I really think that 3 Words gets so much hate on here it's bizarre, it's a really clever little pop tune considering it's mainstream. Hardly 'ear rape' as it's so nicely put my the majority of BuzzJack :lol:

36. Quite possibly, they're all very simple songs that take a while to stick I agree.

43. I loved her last album actually but yeah, times have moved on so I guess she felt she had to as well.

1. Definitely, although I like Nadine's voice the most in term of 'the voice of Girls Aloud', almost the hallmark of their music, Nicola definitely has the most interesting voice.

43. Agreed. The Opera Song was a #1 in my chart :wub: Her highest solo hit for me probably was Moodswings, although the album track Show A Little Faith actually got to #3 for me :o

43 - Can't remember that track, think I only listened to the album once. Moodswings would have been her biggest solo single on my chart too definitely - I have always liked it considerably more than the other 3 singles.

1. That said, I can't really imagine her solo career being that successful, she's not like Cheryl 'nation's sweetheart' Cole :( She's quite iconic for her fashion/style and make up these days I think, but I'm sure she'd love a solo career too.

It's really great, one of the biggest crossover hits of the year I think. Will appeal to people who like all genres.
