What does everyone think of it & where do you think it'll chart?

Didnt expect something like this, doesnt sound like him..

I'm not sure tbh, i just dont see him being a big star.

I dont think he's going to have any longevity in the music industry, thats just my gut feeling.

Good luck to him though.

I thought his new single was called "Somebody"?

Has that just been retitled as "Ambitions" (the chorus definitely has a lot of "Somebody's" in it )

Or is this a completely different track?

On first listen, its ok. Nothing breathtaking. He won't be a Leon - nothing will ever be as bad as that. Although I can't see him having any longevity with this style, might last to the 2nd album in the UK but this music ain't going into Europe or America, that's for sure.

Click on link & it will provide all the info.

Out on October 10th.

There were rumours it was going to be called Somebody, which would be the obvious title for this song if they renamed it. Weirdly, the band he covered the song from Donkeyboy, had a follow up single called Sometimes...

I really like Joe. I always have. He has a great voice and something very likeable about him.

I'm unsure about this song though. It's certainly different but as a fan of the amazing original, he doesn't do it justice at all and production is a bit over the top and ruins the song.

I think top 2. Depends on how the performance goes and how strong the KOL song is.

I love the original, and I think I love this, but I don't think it sounds anything like him. Seems to be dancier, which I certainly like ^_^

I don't know about that, maybe they think that this will help him in Europe since the original song was #1 for about 13wks in Norway, and also reached #1 in Sweden

Sounds like a bad X-Factor Audition. :puke2:

Ah, good to see they changed the title back to the title of the actual song it's a cover of.

Still, very very cheap.

Top 3. I don't think it'll beat KOL TBH.

Yeah i have a bad feeling about this, its like they've given up with him already, sorry fans.

#1 after Robbie and Gary?

I really doubt they would release this on 10th of October. It's a bit too near.

I doubt that, the song was a huge hit not so long ago in these territories and they'd see it as some random singer coming along and doing a simple cover of it, I don't see how that would go down well.

This is brill. perfect sounf for him.l number 1 written all over it

This song is like Alex Gardner's follow up to 'Feeling Fine'.

Nice song, top-20 worthy, will be top-2. I hope he misses out.

I guess so, but if his album is this kind of style all the way through, then maybe the original songs can make an impact.

I really dunno about this, doesn't sound like him at all. Sounds like something The Sissor Sisters would release

It'll be #1, I guess. Though Leon missing in 2008 gives me some hope that Joe can too... but I don't think it will. It's technically a far superior song to Don't Call This Love, which was bland by any standard let alone starting your career with it.

I still really dislike this though. They've basically taken the original and camped it up x10 - and that's really not an improvement at all. :/

P.S. ^^Please don't insult the Scissor Sisters like that :( This sounds like something out of some cringey kids thing ala High School Musical.

Can't believe he covered Donkeyboy! hopefully this will get Donkeyboy into the lime light :)

Really not sure about this- its different, but its a cover- even if the song is largely unknown

I think number 1 or top 3- depending on how good the KOL song is

It will probably get to no. 1, but oh dear, it's bad, poor Joe. People won't recognise him, and they need to for his first single release :(
