Not at all. Shirley is almost an equal to Phil in being a hard-faced old c**t, and is much more capable of calling him out on his s**t.

 

Sharon was strong, but at the same time far too emotional and nice to ever cope with a full-blown relationship with Phil Mitchell.

 

 

I would agree with this, sharon and phil would be 2nd as in phils best couple but shirley is more suited and able stand up to him.

Always knew they would eventually get engaged. Fantastic couple. Love shirley anyway. She's much stronger to deal with Phil then the likes of Sharon, Lisa etc.

I found myself teary-eyed not once but TWICE tonight, when Ian cried and at the end. Such a sucker for a Julia's Theme!

I was surprised charlie got a julies theme exit but happy he did. His exit is total out of charactor but i suppose they have left the door open for him, when i heard he was being axed i was sure he was gona be killed off.

Felt his exit was a little rushed tbh

Charlie's exit was EMOSH. Although I'll agree with Cute Chris and say it was all a little rushed. They basically dedicated one episode to it (and even then, only 10 minutes was his exit.) But I do love the twinkly Julia's Theme and I was rooting for Kat to go and say her goodbyes! He was a boring character, one of those that's always in the background and used to support the bigger players (in this case, he had some bloody big players to support too) and I won't miss him in the slightest, but I did well up a bit.

Glenda is definitly a grower and i hope they can continue to develop her charactor.

I like Glenda but Glynis Barber's acting was all over the place last night. So wooden. I was cringing.

No, I refuse to accept that anybody thinks Glenda/Glynis is anything less than masterful.

Glynis is AWFUL but somehow it ADDS to Glenda's fabulousness.

I still dont fully get the phil and glenda thing but im sure it will make full sense very soon.

AMAZING.

Good episode of EE tonight, brilliant acting from all round, but one thing bugged me, where was Morgan? He wasn't with Ricky or Liam like he was supposed to be, and he didn't appear to be in the house. Honestly all this fuss about Carol bonking Connor, and dopey Ricky's failed to notice Morgan's been abducted at the cinema!

OH MY GOD that was the most amazing/hilarious episode ever. I loved the oh-so-subtle 'from behind' shots of Bianca's lookalike.
