Wow that fight last night with Max and Jack. It wasn't just a punch and then walk away. It was a proper fight with Carol screaming her head off being knocked back. Brilliant.

 

I didn't think those punches were very convincing at all.

I just loved Max's face when being punched. The whole hand-to-the-eye thing made me laugh (but not in a sadistic way)!

Last night was the first time I'd watched it since the baby reveal. I've been busy with work and other things since then so haven't had the chance to catch it. I was worried so much would've happened since then but I didn't find it hard to follow...I guess the main change would be Ronnie being in prison (?) - I see Ian and Jane are both annoying as ever.

The jane and Ian storyline is a bit urgh. Jane just deserved her happy ending though.

Mercy is out. I doubt many will shed a tear, but it does make it all the less likely that we'll be seeing much of Grace, who would have potentially made for a WONDERFUL double-act with Dot :(

No biggie. And Dot already has a better partnership with Fatboy.

Glad she is going. Pointless character from the start. Didn't hate her but what was there to even like about her anyway.

 

Although now she is gone, what are they gonna do with Fatboy? I think we need to meet all his family, otherwise he will just be another chav cracking a few jokes every now and then.

Bit of a shame to see Mercy (and presumably Grace too) go, no major loss I admit, but I was always quite fond of her and rather wanted them to do more with her.

Cora and Fatboy would be a BIZARRE mix. I didn't realise Cora was going to be sticking around beyond the wedding.

I think it was just meant to be a guest stint because the actress went off to do panto afterwards but she got a pretty fantastic response from the fans so they've brought her back for more. Personally I can take or leave Rainie but I absolutely want more of Cora. I thought she was the definition of fabulous.

Cora WAS fabulous. She had that look and that way of delivering lines which just screamed diva bitch. As a gay, I revel in this. The actress who plays Rainie isn't up to much but I like her character and it's nice to see Tanya's past explored in a bit more depth.

I liked Cora too. I hope she does stick around for a while.

 

Rainie is alright. But now she is clean, there isn't much relevence to her character, unless she hangs around and eventually gets a smack in the mouth by Shirley.

The Heather online lover storyline was a bit naff to be honest.

I thought it was a bit naff too but my mind changed when in actual fact, Ben wasn't doing it to be nasty. He generally likes Heather and confided her in very personal things that are going on in his head and life as Kevin Where as Ben himself is too afraid to say himself. I felt a tinge of sadness when Heather read the messages out loud to Shirley.
