I have to agree i just dont like her at all and i cant take to the new actress playing her at all. Also the script writers seemed to ave forgotten lauren tried to kill max which he could have said to her when she was going onto him about murder.
Yeah I agree I liked the 'old look' Lauren she was at pleasant at times. The 'new look' Lauren is overacts a lot and has a face that I wanna slap. :(

I still like new Lauren, though I wish she'd crack a smile once in a while. She's overdoing the angsty thing a tad.

I LOVED Friday's episode. The Ronnie/Kat molestation moment was emotional, and Kat and Alfie's little moment in the Square gardens was so touching! Shirley and Phil stealing that money surprised me too. I still couldn't care less about Billy and Julie however.

I loved that Sal was brought back for the wedding!!

:D

LOL at Phil and Shirley taking the 20k.

New Lauren is sensational! Or maybe it's because I want to do naughty things to her. MEH.
Oh JAMES. She's awful! And I really can't envisage me having a Glenda-esque u-turn with her. Which reminds me, I love Glenda and want her to stay in the show forever and ever please thankyou.
She's far far better than Madeline ever was! As for Glenda, well it's still just as dreadful as ever.
I forgot to say - Aunt Sal  Despite the fact she wasn't actually related to the bride or groom, she still barged her way in and made a mockery of everyone. Aww, long may she reign
I love when aunt sal pops up and i wish she was there more often, i like her no nonsense approach, i loved her scene with Dot.

Glenda's reign of terror continues apace...

EastEnders character Ian Beale will sleep with Glenda Mitchell, it has been reported. According to the Sunday Mirror, the new storyline will see Ian, played by Adam Woodyatt, cheat on wife Jane after overhearing her admitting that she doesn't love him any more.

Glenda will apparently woo him while he drowns his sorrows. When Jane discovers his infidelity, she becomes even closer to friend Masood Ahmed. A source told the paper: "As ever, Ian will end up at rock-bottom."

At 55, grandmother Glenda, played by actress Glynis Barber, is 14 years older than Ian.

Flying the flag for GILFs across the nation!

Eastenders is amazing at the minute! ^_^

The next few months sound epic too. Cant wait!

Glenda has all of a sudden become one of the show's best characters. Not because Glynis Barber is up there with Lacey Turner, Nina Wadia, Patsy Palmer, Lindsey Coulson et all ( in fact far from it), but simply because Glenda is such an utterly RIDICULOUS woman.

Well I'm glad she's getting some appreciation at last. It took a while but I started REALLY warming to her from the moment she began at the bookies (although really from the moment she stole the show in the live episode by managing to squeeze her trademark hammy acting into a millisecond shot). Now she's a FIRM FAVE.

She's at her best when she's talking about sex, preying on younger men for sex, or smirking about the thought of sex/somebody else having sex.

Moving her into the bookies was utter genius, as was pairing up with Carol, which has to be one of the most random duos the show has produced. I can't fathom HOW the writers came up with that one, but I'm glad they did.
