HERES a question; are James and Amy HALF BROTHER AND SISTER or COUSINS? The mind boggles.

They're both!

When Ronnie found James, that was the most tragic point for me. Although I hate to sound like I have a stone heart, but Tanya and Jane were my highlight of the episode.
Yeah, Sam womack was brilliant. I found her performance in the archie abusing her reveal a bit mixed so it was great to see her back of top. She is brilliant at crying. As proved when Danielle died. What a good way to start the new year in albert square then with a baby swap.

Sarcasm, surely?

Last night's was great, acting-wise. Sam, Shane and Jessie all acted fantasticly, it was quite chilling at the end when Ronnie said 'that's my boy' to Tommy. I know tonight's going to be very emotional, I'll probably need tissues. :(

I'm sorry ... I disagree on the acting. I thought Sam Womack was OK ... but nowhere near as brilliant as you're suggesting. She certainly didn't induce a 'tear-jerk' reaction from those watching in our house (nine of us).

The revelation for me (given the disappointment of Lacey Turner leaving) is how good Jessie Wallace has been. I've really enjoyed her this time around she seems to actually enjoy being in Eastenders and be part of a team. Shame her character is stuck with the bloody awful Shane Richie.

Edit! Mind you ... Sam's crying was 10000000% more convincing than Anne Kirkbride at the end of, what was otherwise, a very entertaining episode of Corrie last night!

Anybody else think that the photo Roxy took at the beginning of the episode will come back to haunt Ronnie?
Maybe! :o I was just thinking of how alike the two babies looked when it cut straight from a close-up of James to Tommy.

Much better from Sam Womack tonight. I know you do have to suspend all sense of reality with all soaps ... but surely, no matter what ... the first thing Alfie would have done would have been to go straight upstairs and see the baby. I mean, what new father, after nearly losing his wife ... would choose to conga twice around the block, tend to some drunk revellers, put a band-aid on a pissed punter's finger and then 'fix' a broken cd player ... before going uptairs to check on his son? In soapland ... Tommy is actually safer in the hands of Jack and Ronnie. I wouldn't trust Alfie Moon with a frigging goldfish ... let alone a newborn.

Kat was excellent.

Surely Alfie would know straight away as Tommy was wearing the babygrow with a '#1 Dad' (or something along those lines) motif.

I actually thought Ronnie would have changed the clothes but that would have been just too creepy.

that was awful :(

and worse knowing ronnie was wanting to put him back :(

I agree. I felt really, really uncomfortable watching that! (Although it was played exceptionally well by everyone involved! - Particularly Jesse!) I really liked the fact that she just suddenly came out of her state of shock, and came round to giving him back, even if it was all a little too late. That episode was so tense and uncomfortable (yet watchable for some reason). Looking forward to both the viewers ratings and the OFCOM complaints.
^ they both got the same one from the market

Oh, i could have sworn James was in a blue one, that must be the blanket.

Won't they sorta notice if the baby isn't theirs? Especially considering Ronnie is walking around with a baby wearing daddy's number 1 boy or whatever when i am sure Alfie will remember putting that on his son before they left him. I find that a bit of a small error.

As has already been said, Alfie bought that thing for the both of the kids.
