By 'act' I meant appear normal to her family in the way she was behaving and her emotions as opposed to her specific act of baby swapping, she would still be in floods of tears now. Keeping in mind her knowledge of what it is like to lose a baby, I just don't think the character would have done that to someone else when having a baby that's not her own isn't what she really wanted in the first place.

Anyways, it's a soap and it's not that important I guess...

With ronnie i think its important to remember she swapped the babys in a flash second of madness and she when she recognized what she had done she was going to do the right thing, the only thing is it was to late as the ambulance and cops had arrived. For me thats what makes more sense of the storyline and it explains it for me aswell.

I really liked the little scene with Tiffany, Morgan, and Kat at the swings.
Ya, me too it kinda got kat putting things into some sort of perspective. Alot of hints tonight again i think about how the baby swap will be revealed, dot again going on about comparing the pictures.
I love that scene with Kat and Bianca's two children. It's sweet and amazing what Kids who don't fully understand what is going on can do to put a smile on your face.

^ That was a rather wonderful scene, yes.

In other news, Syed needs a haircut IMMEDIATELY.

I honestly think Ronnie has completly lost the plot. There is not a hint of recognition of reality in that woman's face. It's a very twisted and unsettling storyline but I think it's been handled brilliantly so far. People will always complain but that's because they have nothing better to do with their lives.

I don't feel sorry for Ronnie at all now the initial shock has worn off of what she's done, she's acting completly OTT. That midwife was extremely creepy as well. I was sure she'd figured it out or something when she wanted to speak to Ronnie alone, the look was just very 'knowing'.

I do wish they'd give Ronnie a break but it's Kat I feel for in this particular instance. Or maybe Ronnie a little when Kat finds out what she's done :o

These episodes are well chilling man.

But three words - JESSIE WALLACE ROCKS.

Scrap what I said earlier about how long this storyline's going to last:

Finally, there's been lots of confusion about the future of Ronnie and Kat's baby swap storyline, with some suggestions that the ending to the plot has already been filmed, and other sources saying that - as was always rumoured - it'll continue to play out on screen for a long while.

While EastEnders bosses won't be giving too much away by revealing how long the story will be running for, any suggestion that the reveal episode has already been shot is untrue - so it looks like it'll be continuing for a while longer.

I think I'm happy about this... I just hope the controversy dies down a bit and viewers keep on board. It got over 10.6m yesterday which was the biggest figure for a Tuesday episode in ages.

Wonderful! Although I doubt they'll be able to get much longer than a year out of it - Christmas reveal, probably.
Spencer Moon returning has been confirmed as false. Thank God!

Thank god! I never liked his character.

The Sun's headline for tomorrow is that Sam Womack has quit. If that's true I will actually DIE. Ugh.

Edit: They've put the full story online now. Seems to be true although they're spinning it that she quit because of this storyline going against her morals which seems unlikely to me. Anyway she finishes filming in May so the reveal should be sometime before June/July.

It hasnt been confirmed yet, even if its true i doubt its over the storyline but in a way i guess a storyline of this nature no more than stacey killing archie kind of brings the charactor to an end in many ways. I do like sam and i do like ronnie but i would be more gutted if it was jessie who had quit.

Really gutting news, I did have a feeling this could lead to an exit for her initally when the storyline was thought to be running for 2 years. I'm pleased the storyline is going to continue for a few months yet though, a reveal in February just wouldnt have been good enough I think.

Really bad news that Sam's leaving though, been amazing over the last few years.

Absolutely gutted :( But fair enough that she's standing up for her principles, the storyline does seem to have taken things one step too far imo. She was the best ex-Eurovision contestant on the show!

Somebody draft in Lindsay D :drama:

Well to be fair, it was inevitable. Even had Womack not quit, this is the kind of storyline where there is NO possible way Ronnie could have come back from this - she'd have either had to go on the run, be sent down, or shipped off to join Jean in her asylum.

It's sad because over-rated as I think she sometimes is, she IS one of the show's better actresses.

Oh, and I'm surprised at the level of outrage this storyline has given birth to. It's a bloody drama, it's never claimed to be a reality TV documentary. Do people really think that EE are actually advocating nicking people's babies, or implying that every mother who has suffered a cot death would carry out their own baby swap? There are many people out there who should really just STOP WATCHING TV.
