POOR BRAVE PETER BIEBER BEALE.

He actually became quite a decent character during his final few weeks. It's ALWAYS THE WAY.

I am actually really enjoying Michael now! I've come round so quickly. I thought his reintroduction was so pointless to start with but I'm really warming to him. I also love the whole Max/Jack/Michael thing going on at the car lot.

I'm keen to see what Glenda and Roxy do to Phil and Shirley. I hope it's not going to be a complete anti-climax akin to a WEDGIE (lmao @ at that line, btw.)

Heather bores me at the moment but NOTHING NEW THERE.

Loving Kim and Jodie as always.

Janine's grandmother Lydia is joining. On screen from April, played by Margaret Tyzack:

'Every bit as twisted, manipulative and damaged as her granddaughter' apparently.

Also Jody Latham of Shameless has been confirmed as playing

Whitney's pimp Rob:

On screen from Feb 22nd.

I've really come round to the idea of Jodie recently. I really could not stand her beforehand but these past few weeks she's really grown on me. They really need to bring back Poppy for her aswell, though I am loving her interaction with people like Kim aswell. This does however come at the same time that I stop being completly in love with Vanessa.

Warmed a lot to Michael aswell, I agree that the Max/Jack/Michael scenario is working marvellously. I am however tired of Heathers story, considering she works 2 jobs and would have benefits for George (plus money from Darren), how is she just constantly poor. Unless they think of something more interesting for her, I just dont see the point in keeping her on.

Oh, and Tamwars girlfriend is fabolous aswell. Keep her on please.

Oh hurrah! I've hated Heather ever since she joined, so PRAISE THE LORD that people are finally started to turn on her! Absolutely useless tool and always has been! I'm thinking (hoping) George will die due to being out in the cold so long and Heather mopes off back to her mother...for good!

Actually LOL I think amongst the public Heather is probably quite a well liked character. She represents all of the overweight/obese/ugly viewers who can't empathise with the more glamorous characters like Tanya, Vanessa, Kat etc.

I don't know what you mean by turn on her, Theo. Just on Buzzjack you mean? She's never really been popular on the forums. But they do their market research so I guess she tests well with audiences.

I was a huge heather fan and while i still like her i think she has lost all her comic side which was what i loved about her.

Good idea showing it from heather's perspective but i still want her gone from the show if i was the producer. Such a yawn of a character

Love carol. Been away for about a week or two and delivers a great performance in just her short few scenes.

That was the single longest episode of Eastenders I have ever watched. I really dislike Heather lately - poor actress, whiny, irritating. Definitely not worthy of such an episode.

However, it was all done very well and there were a few moments that made me feel so bad for her, which I guess was the idea. I just hope it goes somewhere (leading to her departure or something), rather than "oh Heather's poor and ill. End."

I think you're all hoping in vain. They may do silly things at times, but the scriptwriters are hardly going to devote an entire episode to a character they don't consider popular.

Cheryl Ferguson isn't a future BAFTA winner in the making, but then neither are the likes of Laila Morse, Sid Owen or Perry Fenwick, and look how much time they've accumulated between them. Also look how long it took them to chuck the likes of Charlie, Garry and Minty. The loveable loser types stick around for YEARS (albeit in the background), and I don't see any reason why Heather won't either, especially given she is actually marginally more popular than all the aforementioned.

Im not sure about tonights episode,i dont mind heather but it was too much quick swap of scenes of her in so many different places. The storyline itself i like and i like what they are trying to portray and they have done that well but im not sure the overload of different heather scenes fitted right.

''She's too fat and too boring''. A marvellously accurate describtion of Hev' by Janine there. Couldnt have put it better myself.

Fatboy and Dot together is just AMAZING though. More scenes for them please. Ronnie/Jack/Roxy/Michael/Christian/Syed just bored me tonight though. Bleugh.

I am really disliking Ronnie. What a cow to Michael. Obviously we know the reasons but i no longer feel sorry for Ronnie anymore. But man, the eventual reveal. I can't imagine how that is gonna blow up. I wonder if it's been wrapped yet.
ya im lookig forward to the reveal and how it will come about, i have a feeling the baby will get sick or something and will need a blood transfusion or something like that and ronnie will admit all, maybe im wrong but thats how i think it will go.

I was thinking that too. I thought about it when Ronnie took James to the hospital last week (?).

That obviously would've been too early for the reveal but I can see how it would work.
