Right, I said earlier there would also be a 25 point bonus for the team of the person with the highest individual score...

 

However, I'm not basing this on the scores I've already posted.

The problem with those, as I went into last week, is that the maximum points available to each team differed depending on participation.

 

So this week for example, each Silk Bullet member could potentially have scored up to 480

(15 Toxic Champagne + 17 Quest + 16 Blue Waffle) x 10 questions = 480

On the other hand, each Quest member only had a maximum of 430 available to them.

(12 Silk Bullet + 16 Toxic Champagne + 16 Blue Waffle) x 10 questions = 430

 

 

So to equal the playing field, I'm using a quick little formula to work out the % of available points each person scored, so for example, I scored 169/440 = 38.41%

By the way, do we actually need deductions for non-voters? Surely not having a voter provide a general minimum of 150 points is punishment enough in itself?

 

I suppose not. Neither this week or last have they actually made any difference to the final positions. It's just an extra little incentive for participants.

After last week's disaster, Quest had the advantage of numbers this week, but it still wasn't enough to leapfrog Toxic Champagne, with some truly AWFUL performances at the bottom.

Despite seemingly going out of his way to embarass himself this week, Jonjo STILL manages to finish ahead of poor Jark and Josh; scoring 40 points for the 'condom' answer alone!

If bonus points are backdated then I think in the interests of equality all points for BJSC are deducted backdated too given the new rule ;)
