September 27, 201014 yr i was reading about this like a year ago when it was at festivals, it sounds promising, depends if the fact that its basically all one man buried the whole time gets boring or not. that and i f***ing hate ryan reynolds
September 27, 201014 yr Gosh, so many films about stuff like that... being buried alive, or trapped in a 'devil' lift, or being dragged to hell because of some woman's curse (i don't know how it ended though). CRAP CRAP CRAP. Nothing groundbreaking whatsoever. So I'm guessing just another faux-emotional movie of how people handle themselves in extreme situations. Although Ryan Reynolds is hot :kink:
September 27, 201014 yr Apparently the WHOLE movie is just him trapped in a box, and it's quite dark for the most of it. For the first 20 minutes, the screen is black. Still getting rave reviews though and I want to see it out of curiousity if anything.
October 5, 201014 yr Author Went to see this tonight (literally not long got back) and I thought it was bloody brilliant. Ryan Reynolds deserves awards for his performance in this! It was so tense and had some moments of laughter and some real hard hitting stuff! The ending is really well done. I definitely recommend.
October 5, 201014 yr Oh yeah I seen it too, I thought it was brilliant too! One of my best films so far this year aswel..
October 7, 201014 yr I went to see this last night, it was f***ing awful. Seriously, it was so predictable and had complete plot holes everywhere. The ending I saw coming a trillion miles off and it could have had a much much MUCH better ending.
October 7, 201014 yr I bet Alanis Morissette would have liked to bury him like this a few years ago :heehee: Not my sort of movie but I would consider renting it out, just to see if it lives up to the hype.
October 7, 201014 yr Well hype, mixed reviews, I think it's all the same. I hope I make sense, I don't get 'hype' its just reviews at the end of the day  All movies have some sense of hype. Edited October 7, 201014 yr by Regina Flowers
