But you can't disagree that Electricity and Everything Will Flow are great songs, can you?

They're both very average I reckon. Sadly when Bernard Butler left it was pretty much over for me and Suede.

Well the re-issue of The Holy Bible (US Mix) moved it to my favourite album of all time but the lack of b-sides was a slight disappointment.

I do understand that there were no b-sides available anyway.

Faster/PCP had the B-sides Sculpture Of Man and New Art Riot (In E Minor)

Revol had Too Cold Here, a live version of Love's Sweet Exile and the original (Heavenly) version of You Love Us

She Is Suffering had remixes of Faster and La Tristesse Durera by The Dust Brothers (before they became The Chemical Brothers) on one disc and live versions of Suede's The Drowners and The Faces' Stay With Me, both featuring Bernard Butler and the track Love Torn Asunder.

No idea why they weren't used

Thanks for the info Severin. As a fan of that album I really should have known all that.

I would have to have The Drowners and New Generation on there

I was never fond of either despite them being critics favourites.
I'd have both Sleeping Pills and Pantomime Horse on mine.
I got Sci Fi Lullabies yesterday... It's absolutely amazing for a compilation of b sides etc. Whipsnade might be one of their best songs. Great purchase indeed!

Well done. It is stunningly good. I remember NME or Melody Maker proposing that cd 1 may be better than OK Computer or Ladies and Gentlemen We Are Floating in Space.

Wouldn't go that far but it's obvious that putting the 12 best songs together we would have the ultimate Suede masterpiece

But that's sort of unnecessary...'Sci Fi Lullabies' works well as it is.

Just dug this up on youtube - and, yes, I was there :D

I shall use it as an excuse to mention the Ultimate Pet Shop Boys rate in the Pop forum
