Marlon, Mary and Treyc would have been such a strong group. It baffles me that they moved them. :/

Looks like a shoo-in for 1-Direction this year. :/

It's a joke that only one of the groups that applied got through to the live shows...

01 Rebecca

02 Bell Amie

03 Mary

04 FYD

05 Aidan

06 Nicolo

07 Matt

08 1 Direction

09 Cher

10 John

11 Storm

12 Katie

It is actually somewhat decent, and the only ones I cant really stand for the time being at least are Storm and Katie.

My favourites in order

1. Cher Lloyd

2. 1Direction

3. Belle Amie

4. Aiden Grimshaw

5. Rebecca Ferguson

6. Matt Cardle

7. John Adeleye

8. F.Y.D

9. Nicolo Festa

10. Mary Byrne

11. Storm Lee

12. Katie Waissel

I rather see a group winning for a change, if we are going pattern by pattern Shayne Warne, Leona Lewis, Leon Jackson, Alexandra Burke, Joe McElderry, (bar Steve Brook$h!t), its about time for the pattern to break.

and even the group that auditoned.. two of them were backing dancers on X Factor last year

If I was to predict the first bottom two.....taking everything into account:

John Adeleye VS Katie Waissel.

Sadly I 100% agree with you about John. He's not had much airtime throughout the series so Simon Cowell is bound to make a big deal of this "you're normal but so what..." yet despite John being my fave in the Overs, it's blatant he'll be the first from the category to be kicked out.

I doubt Katie will be bottom 2 in the first live show. I reckon it'll either be F.Y.D or sadly Belle Amie.

Mine;

1. Rebecca Ferguson

----------------

2. Cher Lloyd

3. Matt Cardle

----------------

4. Katie Waissel

5. Belle Amie

6. Aiden Grimshaw

----------------

7. 1Direction

8. Mary Byrne

9. F.Y.D

10. John Adeleye

11. Nicolo Festa

----------------

12. Storm Lee

I'll get slaughtered for #4 but drama queen antics aside, I prefer her voice and presence to many of the others. After the live shows this list will change dramatically, I had Joe about 8th or 9th intially last year but he soon became my favourite. Storm really isn't my cup of tea

I really like Katie, but Gamu or Treyc are both way more talented tbh, I'd personally have picked Treyc over her. Rebecca and Cher were totally the right choices. Dannii should have picked either Marlon or Tom over Nicolo tbh, he's got a great voice but he is sooo annoying <_< Also, I'd have chosen Elesha over Storm. Simon made the correct decision tho with his 3. My top 12 rank:

1. Cher Lloyd

2. Matt Cardle

3. Rebecca Ferguson

4. Bell Amie

5. Katie Waissel

6. 1 Direction

7. Mary Byrne

8. Aidan Grimshaw

9. John Adelyde

10. Nicolo Festa

11. FYD

12. Storm Lee

Storm is the only one I really don't like, 1-4 I love, 5-8 I really like and 9-11 I quite like.

Dannii made the best choices - I liked all 3 of them last night (Nicolo not as much as the other two - but she did pick the best three of the guys.)

Louis made two good choices, and one bad - I'd've preferred Elesha in over Storm, although he's alright (but a bit overrated...)

Simon made good choices - although I can't actually remember anything by F.Y.D. - but the two groups he put together are the best of all the groups.

Cheryl made one good choice; Cher. Katie was a ridiculous decision - she's far too up her own arse to be voted through the competition, Treyc should've been put through over her. I'd've preferred Anastacia over Rebecca (who seems a bit to monotonous for me.)

So yeah, my favourites so far are Aiden, Matt, John, Bell Amie, One Direction and Cher. :D

Am I the only one who thinks John is the version 2.0 of Andy Abraham? :|

That makes no sense. Why would you want a group to win just for "the pattern to break". Personally I only rate the girlgroup but 1 Direction might sway my opinion of them like Joe did last year - even if Joe sounds tragic on record (his vocals on 'You Are Not Alone' and 'The Climb' were ghastly, and now he's a rival to Mika in the falsetto stakes :manson: ).

I want to best consistant singer(s) to win. If one of the groups pull off excellent performances week after week then I'll be more inclined to support them. As much I didn't like what Louis did with G4, they were much better than Steve Brookstein and their success after the show proved that the public don't always get it right when it comes to voting. See Rhydian for the same reason.

If there is 16 next week, surely it will be the bottom 3 with 2 going OUT, has to be double evictions for the first few weeks.

Now you mention it, I totally get that! Haha. Both really bland too.

It's amazing how Cheryl had such a strong group....but she managed to pull it all to the ground. With the exception of Rebecca I'm really not sure if Cher and Katie can pull it off. Bizarre that they got through after messing up so badly...

If the wildcard thing is true, here's who I want it to be from each category (if I have multiples the left most one is my preference)

Girls: Gamu/Treyc

Boys: Paije Richardson

Groups: Diva Fever/The Reason

Overs: Yuli Minguel

Diva Fever because we need a different group....and I'd wonder if Simon will pick The Reason....he'll probably be wary of The Reason messing with FYD and 1Directions votes. I bet he'll be wary of picking Husstle after what happened with Kandy Rain too.

Yuli Minguel because I really can't see any other option for Louis, and he seems to really like her. The only other one worthy of note is Elesha but she's a bit dull.

The boys, anyone except Tom Richards really..

Well the spoilers were 100% correct- not too bad a line up although this definately isnt going to be a vintage year like 2008 was and will be more like last year

my ranking of the final 12:

01. Matt Cardle

02. Cher Lloyd

03. Belle Amie

04. Rebecca Ferguson

05. John Adeleye

06. Aiden Grimshaw

07. 1 Direction

08. Katie Waissel

09. FYD

10. Mary Byrne

11. Storm Lee

12. Nicolo Festa

I dont hate any of them atm, although the only two I care for are Cher and Matt, and the former has unfortunately peaked- the rest vary from decent to average, although Storm and Nicolo are extremely big-headed and that is why I cant like them
