Joe does have what it takes to be a popstar but the one relevant thing is missing and that is a record company that gives a damn and is willing to do what it takes.Sadly it is pretty obvious that even at this early stage with Joe Syco are just showing poor form.An uninspiring lead single that does not show what he is capable of, promotion that seems half hearted, his song should have gone to radio at least 6 weeks ago and the video out three weeks before release does not work for most acts unless they have built up a solid fan base.I think his album having so many covers does not help either.He could still have a second good quality single perform well not sure why the B-side was not the lead single really.

Worrying that runner-up Olly got No.1 (probably was only because of his "naked" photo shoot, didn't sell or stay much though) and now Joe, the winner, may only get Top.5. I would prefer Joe to get No.1 tbh for his sake. But whenever Joe McElderry is involved in a chart battle, it's always an interesting chart battle!!

It can't be THAT bad...

 

It's just a novelty dance song in the same vein as Doop and We No Speak Americano. Both were #1s and the latter is among the highest selling singles of 2010. These sort of songs clearly have massive appeal.
