Call me crazy but I can hear Howard really loudly on the chorus, even above the others it would seem

You're not crazy ... you can hear Howard above the others in the chorus.

The fanatical thing is a bit weird Kath , you can see it in full motion on the RW & TT OS , folk need to grow up & move on.

I agree with you Cleo 100% Sometimes after I've posted something on the TT or RW site ... I think 'why did I say that ... I'm just upsetting people who, to some, these guys are their whole world' ... and then I realise I'm only posting, most of the time because I'm bored! And I do nitpick - I don't really see hidden messages - partly because they're not hidden ... they're slap-bang hitting you in the face! I was the same at college though in Art History lessons - I had endless arguments with tutors about the Impressionists!

This should all stop next week ... as I'm starting my new job - one that I actually like and pays quite a lot so I won't have time to post on either the RW or TT sites.

Sadly ... for you lot here ... I'll always find time to post on Buzzjack!

Hey you got a good sense of humour girl & that's all that matters  ..people get so bloomin personal , it;s a bit like picking at a sore & stopping after it has gone too far

Congrats on the job , hope you enjoy :cheer:

There's always lots of Howard in the choruses for some reason.

He's always said in interviews that he loves doing backing vocals (he really is good too). I don't think his voice stands out enough to be lead (although no-one does Never Forget like him ... I thinks its the vulnerability in his voice) but he's probably the best harmoniser of the lot.

This deserves to be big. Barlow's a genius
i like the video.. i'm not impressed but seeing TT as a 5 piece again, feels great!

I agree there, he's not great with verses, or leading a whole song, but he really suits these anthemic choruses imo. He also sang the 'We can Rule The World' main part on that song too!

European iTunes at the moment. Positions for The Flood.

Germany - 8

Austria - 16

Italy - 23

Switzerland - 15

Sweden - 20

Denmark - 1

I'm glad they've got the number one in Denmark first ... its the one place that Take That had great success with the Beautiful World tour.

It's already shaping up to be their biggest single since Patience outside the UK after only a few days on sale and before any promotion kicks in. I can see it easily outselling Patience is a strong European marketing campaign is put in place, especially in key markets such as Germany - a country where as we know Rob is the biggest thing since sliced bread - and TT also have a fanbase there - more so than in other countries. France will be interesting - TT have not charted there since Never Forget reached 40 something - Rob apparently said they would deffo be performing in Paris on the tour so unless a big promo campaign is organised for France it is not going to be plane sailing.

I think the chart positions of the single and especially the album will help decide which countries they will be performing in and the venue size.

I'm really glad that its number 1 in Denmark iTunes. Denmark is the one place that they've had a good following since the comeback (compared to the very luke-warm response they received elsewhere).

In which countries has it been released? German territory or all around bar the UK? It is definitely not in the Greek itunes...

When are the 'boys' on the XF?

Edit: IAOOC is still no1 on itunes in Greece (not a surprize). As soon as I learn it's charting position for the past week I inform you. It must be pretty high :D

To be honest ... I only knew it had been released in Italy and Germany so I just looked on Search Europe out of curiosity and found it was in a couple of others.

Really happy with those positions and its all looking great for this to do hugely well.

They'd better start promoting soon because apart from German and Denmark ... The Flood is starting to sink a little on the other nations' charts.

Kath

Just had a little look at the album cover artwork (so far). I'll say nothing.
