It's been exactly 10 years since that Brit Awards performance!

The OCC asked its readers what their favourite albums were and Madonna was mentioned twice in this small selection of answers: http://www.officialcharts.com/chart-news/o...ll-time__15766/

Confessions, Ray of Light and Like a Prayer are without a doubt among Madonna's most standout albums. It's well-established that the former two make up my Top 2 and that it gets hazy after that, but in the past I've considered Like a Prayer to be my third favourite, although I think American Life could have actually taken its place now.

Confessions and RoL are my top 2 too but then it does get blurry. Maybe True Blue rounding off the top 3? Like a Prayer is definitely high up there though!

I've realised how much I love True Blue this past month, but I feel it lacks the depth of her Like a Prayer to Confessions albums to be right up there as one of my faves. Obviously there's absolutely nothing wrong with pure pop music, especially when it is as good as what appears on True Blue, but one of the reasons I love Madonna's music so much is her ability to give you mixed emotions within even the same song. There's no question she started doing that with this album with the likes of 'Papa Don't Preach' but her creativity only grew further as time went on.

Happy 16th to Rocco! The Daily Mail will probably increase their inappropriate stalking over him now.
Happy birthday Rocco :cheer: what a tough year he's had! Hope it gets easier but I can imagine being the son of such high profile stars will never let up or get simpler..

Two Door Cinema Club have cited Madonna as an influence for their upcoming third album, more specifically "the Nile Rodgers-produced Madonna record".
I've enjoyed all the singles of theirs I've heard but I've never actually listened to either of their albums for some reason. Will be interesting to see how Madonna has an influence on their music, especially as they appear to be referring to the Like a Virgin album.

Did the IC chart last week ?

It was around the 100 mark on iTunes ?

It's currently number 79 :)

Not sure, but apparently Celebration re-entered at #112, one place above a Britney greatest hits.

An album i'm OBSESSING about right now by Travis Scott ~ he has a track that has slight tinges of 'Lucky Star' filtered throughout it. It's such a lovely little touch and he actually thanked Madonna as one of the artists that helped the album to come together! The track is called 'SDP Interlude' ~

Don't think it'll be to the taste of many on here but it's amazing how many artists she inspires. Give it a listen if you can (currently only on Apple Music so I can't link it :heehee:)

Madonna accidentally flashes photographers at Fashion Week

Madonna headed to the Big Apple’s premiere style gathering wearing a sexy black outfit featuring sheer fabric over a black bra top.

She teamed the semi-see-through top with a black Adidas tracksuit, and sat on the front row for the Alexander Wang show with her daughter Lourdes.

However, Madonna appeared to make a boob of herself when she leaned forward to rest her head on the teenager’s shoulder.

Her sheer top shifted, and left a nipple on display for the world to see.

The singer did not appear to notice the wardrobe malfunction, and kept a big smile on her face as she posed for pictures with Lourdes.

The teen looked less than impressed, and leaned her face against her hand as her mother cuddled up to her.

Idk what the f*** she was wearing but I've seen lots of photos from the event of her smiling with Lourdes and it's great to see her look so happy.

(Lady) Madonna appeared at the premiere of The Beatles: Eight Days A Week yesterday:

Madonna was the third highest paid woman in music between June 2015 and June 2016 with $76.5 million (£62.1m).

That puts her behind Adele's $80.5 million (£65.4m) and Taylor Swift's $170 million (£138m).
