I'd say Since U Been Gone will be #1 and Never Again at #5... What happens inbetween is too hard to tell.

'Already Gone' and 'Sober' are stunning, some of my favourite Kelly songs.

 

I think 'Behind These Hazel Eyes' is my favourite of what's left, but all are decent obviously.

I think BTHE will win, win SUBG a close second!

Up next is the lead single from her hugely under appreciated album, 'My December'. 'Never Again' was released to very mixed and lukewarm reviews. Some people even thought it was a 'Breakaway', B-side reject. I personally thought it was a fantastic comeback single and I remember being a bit gutted after seeing it stall at number 9 in the charts. I also remember getting 'My December' for my 18th birthday and remember blaring this out so loud. It's a cracking song, just a bit weak in regards that she has done far better versions of that song :(

What I say :P Cant say Im surprised tbh. Its a good song but its the worst of a good bunch? Well not worst but you know what I mean...

Coming in fourth is the highest 'All I Ever Wanted' entry, and her first ever UK number 1 single! 'My Life Would Suck Without You'! It was the most obvious number 1 hit, since P!nk's 'So What'! It's not got old for me at all. In fact the more I hear it, the more I love it. It's got EVERYTHING a catchy, memorable pop song should have. Amazing production, cheesy lyrics, orgasmic vocals, a sing-a-long chorus, catchy hook, amazing melody, amazing artwork and a fun, amazing video. This thoroughly deserves to be in the top 5. I'm still in love with it and it's my most played on iTunes (with 360+ plays - 150 of those was on the DAY it leaked - obsessed much? :lol:) GAH! I love it more than I remember. :wub: But I don't think I love it as much as Ethan. (19? HAHAHAHAHA! What a fool)

So Buzzjack's least favourite of the best "holy trinity" ever, is 'Because Of You'! This is everything a modern pop power ballad should be. Piano, haunting and beautiful melody, very personal but beautifully written lyrics. This is lyrically one of Kelly's best ever songs. It's a shame she has such a strong back catalogue as this used to be my favourite ever Kelly single until recently, when I started to appreciate, 'Sober', 'Since U Been Gone', 'Already Gone' & 'My Life Would Suck Without You' a lot more. But having said that, this is a VERY SOLID 10 out of 10 song. Gorgeous song.

I think on the whole this is the correct top 5, a bit obvious and predictable perhaps but nethertheless, her best 5 songs for me. Never Again is just immense, a complete and utter brilliant song that did not deserve some of the criticism it got and definatly deserved better than #9.

My Life is also of course amazing, and Because Of You is stunning. I was kinda expecting My Life to be second though. Since U Been Gone will hands-down win.

Because Of You shoulda won, but BTHE is pretty much my joint #1 so I'd be happy with that. SUBG is a tad overated for me personally

SUBG is overrated, but it is the song that showed her new image to the world

'Since U Been Gone' will always be the best for me, although 'Behind These Hazel Eyes' is almost as good certainly.

 

'Because Of You' got unbearable towards the end of 2005 with all that overplay, I've only just recently been able to listen to it and appreciate it again.

Great top four! :wub: If 'Already Gone' was at #5 instead of 'Never Again', it'd be the perfect top 5, where all songs are 9-10/10! :heart: I hope 'SUBG' wins, although I'm not that bothered as both are great. :heart:

Here we have it. In 2nd place is the song that kick started my obsession with the Clarkson! From that guitar only intro, to the melodic and moody verses, to that thumping rock fused with pop chorus, 'Since U Been Gone' is arguably Kelly's signature hit. It went on to be a worldwide success and it went on to have a very healthy chart run here in the UK, to our surprise. Or maybe not. It thoroughly deserved it. Definitely her 3rd best song behind 'Sober' and 'Don't Let Me Stop You', for me personally. Really pleased with it's positioning in this countdown, although I'm shocked at 'Behind These Hazel Eyes' coming above it! :o

So here is the winner. By a reasonable amount too! :o I'm very shocked that 'Behind These Hazel Eyes' won. Although it was a very, very successful song, I always consider it to be quite forgotten, a forgotten gem if you like. The video is amongst her best too, and it's when she was looking her best as well. THAT BODY! WOW!! It's a solid pop/rock song and is a definite 10 out of 10 moment amongst her back catalogue. A very deserving winner.
