I'M HOME!

WOW. It was AMAZING. :w00t:

Firstly, 'Yelle' were SO good! :o Really liked them. Weren't so sure about them when i was listening to their songs on YouTube last week, but after hearing them live, i love them!

When arriving things didn't start off very well as Security confiscated my camera! Apparently you aren't allowed to take professional cameras inside, but its hardly professional, then they locked it away in a metal cage and gave me a raffle ticket... I have a Blackberry and the camera on it is $h!t, and my friends Digital Camera was crap so i don't have ANY pictures from the concert.

Anyway, her staging was AMAZING - stunning to look at, and her vocals throughout were FLAWLESS. It was SO much better then i was expecting it to be tbh, it was great. Me and my friend got seated tickets, which i HUGELY regret buying now though. I just wanted to get in the middle of the standing crowd and dance and jump with them all. :( That was the only bad part.

I loved all the interaction she had with the crowd, getting some fans from the front row on stage to dance with her, and going into the crowd to kiss a girl etc. She was telling us how she loves the food here, and that backstage was eating a Sunday Roast with Yorkshire Puddings! She also LOVES 'The Only Way Is Essex' and 'Big Fat Gypsy Weddings'. :P Also,

when she was asking us what songs we wanted her to sing acoustically, so everyone was shouting out their favourite singers and Katy was repeating them, Tinie Tempah, Rihanna HUGE CHEERS, then Cheryl Cole... the whole Arena BOOED.

It was BRILLIANT. I'm even considering buying another ticket for the next Liverpool Show in October/November, but standing this time...

Favourite Performances - E.T, Firework and California Gurls - the crowd were going MAD.

I've read that

there isn't a tour programme

. Can anyone confirm this? Raging if true

Its True. When it finished i was walking around for ages looking to buy one, but there weren't any.

I would like to say a big f*** you to anyone who thinks Katy cant sing live, she was AWESOME last night!!!

Arrived at the venue about 2pm and managed to get to the barried (just). Got talking with one of the security guys, and i must have flashed my good smile or something, because he gave me half of the setlist half way through the show, he couldnt find the second half

Really great show, I loved it. The french band were good, the last song (i think) sounded like she was singing about leaving the gas on, which gave me the giggles :heehee: I'm just about to upload my photos to my laptop now, looking through them on my camera and most have turned out pretty good :D

Seeing her tomorrow, soooo excited :D
'E.T' was my favourite performance of the night, loved the lasers  Crowd interaction was great, and the view was better than I expected, to say I was in the block at the back of the arena - Nottingham is a small arena though, and the seats were tiered really well.

OMFG.

Last night was amazing! The best concert of my life (not that I've been to many, but ssh) and it was fantastic! First of all, Katy's vocals have improved MASSIVELY since promoting 'Firework' in November and that really pleased me. The support acts were alright; YELLE were okay, but as I couldn't understand what she was saying, it kind of let it down. I was disappointed that Calvin Harris had dropped out, but Skeet Skeet was great and I loved the songs he played.

Onto Katy now. The staging and videos were great -- I loved the little storyline that went on during her costume changes. The vocals throughout were to a very high standard and the setlist was brilliant. It's too hard to choose a favourite performance though, as there were many very good performances! We were really near the front of the stage aswell, and I swear I got eye-contact with her at one point. :kink: I'm very jealous of the people she brought on stage/kissed aswell. I got loads of photos though, and a couple of videos which I'll upload later when I can be bothered. The encore of 'California Gurls' was by far and away the highlight though, I loved everything about it -- I really wanted to catch one of the beachballs to keep though!

It was bloody amazing though and well worth every penny. I'd love to go again, but I'm not sure I could afford it -- I'll just have to see...

Oh I never posted in here...

So I was at the Cardiff show. We did the Facebook places check in so I was right at the front by the barrier. Amazing view. I was also selected to go on stage with Katy which was AMAZING. I nearly pissed myself as the security guards lifted me over the barrier, I was so nervous :| I'd do it all over again though. Unfortunately after I came off the stage I couldn't get back to my space so I just lingered to the side of the stage so I didn't have a good view of the last 2 songs :( But every cloud and all that :P

Okay, as the first UK leg is over, I'll just upload my videos into this thread. I've got four more to upload (I'm not uploading them in any particular order). This is 'I Kissed A Girl' (with about 4 minutes of talking to the crowd before the song starts). I'm not actually sure how good the sound is, as YouTube is refusing the play sound on my computer, but the view's quite close (but a bit pixelated).

She fell in that video? Was that planned?
Saw it last night at Wembley, it was a great show! She sounds great live (from what we could hear-the sound at Wembley is god awful) and was really funny when interacting with the crowd. It was a very imaginative show although I'm surprised people are saying the staging was amazing-it was pretty basic and would've looked a bit crap with a lesser performer on it. The setlist wasn't particularly brilliant, it pretty much came to a halt in the middle with too many slowies and covers and I'm not sure why she decided to include covers while leaving out album highlights like One Of The Boys, If You Can Afford Me and The One That Got Away. Other than that though it was a fantastic night and I already can't wait for her next album and tour :)
