October 23, 201014 yr I dunno ... there's something I can't put my finger on, but she comes across as kind of fake to me. I just find her rather simple as well, I do feel for her with the whole Ashley and malaria thing but I just don't think she's anything special at all really and I just personally find it odd that someone fairly simple and untalented has become SO big. I think her overratedness adds to this a huge amount too actually. I do understand what you mean. I don't personally view her as fake, but I do agree with her lack of talent. She's not an amazing singer, but she is a fantastic dancer. It frustrates me how she can be so incredibly popular, and her music sell masses when she's not vocally very strong. But then again, this can be said for many stars nowadays: Katy Perry, Rihanna, Ke$ha etc... None of them have the vocal power of some other pop starlets: Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, Beyoncé (:kink:), Leona Lewis etc... but they can sell more than they can (well, not Beyoncé, but Mariah flopped hard, and Leona's Echo didn't do as well as hoped.) But that said, I really like her as a person, and I like her music.

I love her and I really like the majority of her music, and I ADORE Girls Aloud, but she ain't anything special - an ordinary popstar not at all worthy of all the praise she gets.

October 24, 201014 yr I finally got to watch it all this morning. I do really feel for her, sometimes it looked like she is really struggling to cope with all that. I just hope she doesn't do a Britney and go wild, those situations are really touchy and I hope she'll have the right people around her to support her through this all. I love you Chezza <3

October 24, 201014 yr According to Wiki (yes I do know it's Wikipedia, and we can't 100% trust it) the episode garnered 7.2 million viewers, which is the highest that the show has ever received, beating out the record of 6.62 million viewers who watched Simon Cowell's interview in March. ^_^

Having just watched a section of it on Loose Women, I totally agree! Why do this so soon after the relationship, and so early in her life? I can't put my finger on why it irritates me that she's done this show, but it REALLY does. I might come across a Cheryl hater (but considering 4 of her songs having gone Top 5 in my personal chart, I'm blatently not).

It was good to see her talk again, i hate when celebs get so big that they just become media trained dummies never really saying anything of importance or showing personality. I miss when Cheryl had a bit of bite to her, they showed a pic of her when she said she was happy, maybe she just needs a bit of Sarah in her life who just doesn't care... might give her that umph back.

As she said, the press and people have talked so much about her private life in the last two years, most of the time talking rubbish, that she needed to talk at least once to make it clear so people would stop believing what's written in the papers, and she could stop some rumours. And this show is the best opportunity to do such a thing I guess.
