Thats what i read, not sure how likely it is, but it does say for sure JLS are singing with a 'mystery guest' and they said it may be gamu as she is definitely attending.

I doubt that is true. Reggie accidentally revealed that it was Travie McCoy on radio the other day plus he has just been added to the list of performers

 

LOL I was listening to Radio 1xtra earlier and they were saying.. JLS are performing with a "US star" or "Gamu from X Factor" LOL .. What a difference

For anyone who doesn't know youtube Alexa Goddard she is THE hottest youtube star atm!

 

Her version of Turn my Swag, Cooler than me and Dynamite is amazing!

 

It's a must buy...I can't wait for her to get signed to get her album, I'm shocked how high she is it was only out yesterday and she hasn't made a big deal out of it AT ALL, only states on the Dynamite cover's info box.

Been top 75 for quite a while now (at least 2 weeks?) and it's now top 40. She really should have released it this week as I think Cheryl's victory may have been sealed by the sales lost to this fake...

No offense but was it ever proven, that fake versions really steal sales? I mean yes surely, but it can't be that high. Look at for example Cee Lo Green, the fake version was really really high still the original song got to number one with over 100k sales. We No Speak Americano didn't suffer from Marco Calliari's version after all either.

 

People who buy fake versions are really impatient but in the end they discover those versions are by far not that good as the actual song, so they buy it (mostly) again imo.

 

It's just annoying to see those versions, but imo they don't harm the original song's sales that much.

That is a very valid point, I must say, but I think only the proper survey will be able to answer how much of the sales are being stolen by the fake versions. We need to know the percentage of people who bought the fake version AND didn't buy the real version later to estimate the harm is being done by those versions.

 

But I think the fake versions aren't the main problem of the releases (even that 'When Love Takes Over' version which didn't want to get out from top-10 even when the real version was released :lol: ), the main problem is that people don't want to wait for the release date, download the song illegally and don't bother to download it later when it actually appears. This does much more harm to the sales.

This has had 3 separate chart runs in the official top 100 and it looks like it'll re-enter again. Surely this has to be one of the highest selling B-Sides of all time?

 

(And before anyone says it, Single Ladies doesn't count as it was later promoted to full single)
