Cheryl Cole episode of life stories had 7.2m viewers (37.5% share) and a peak of 7.82m

Thats the highest rated episode ever, Simon Cowells overnight was 5.2m, the previous high.

That could be closer to 8m in the actuals, and of course will help out Promise This and Messy Little Raindrops hugley!

**off topic - but if anybody is interesed, last nights XF peaked at 13.7m**

Jesus! That is incredibly high! This is why the papers write so much about her - so many people are interested. If they weren't it wouldn't have got those figures

Since this apparent chart battle between cheryl and rihanna is going on <_<

Anyway articles are claiming they are going to team up http://www.omgmusic.com/news/cheryl-cole-c...a-collaboration heres one :)

Loads more on internet.

Cheryl literally confirmed it in yesterday's Mirror, due to happen next year apparently

Alas, this is the UK. Nobody is going to outsell Cheryl Cole - she could be burping the alphabet and it'd be no. 2 on iTunes already. Gotta give Cheryl credit, the marketing and promoting surrounding 'Promise This' has been absolutely fantastic.

Proof that you don't need a fantastic song to go to no. 1 - fantastic hype/TV exposure/promotion/Piers Morgan sells the song instead. :kink:

Anyways, Rihanna at #14 is good enough for this early stage. 'Only Girl' could well be top 3 at least by the end of today. I expect we'll see a boost in sales for 'Hollywood' by Michael Buble after 21:00pm tonight.

Thats true I suppose everything has gone her way in the lead up to this release. I do take my hat off to her PR team.

What was I thinking the British public lap it up.I am sure even a mimed performance from her tonight will be swept under the carpet.

That's a link for top 1000. I know that, but is it there any link to see what songs are outside top 1000, between 1001-2000?

Ah sorry :heehee:

I don't think it exists tbh. :(

Exactly. Marrb, I'm sorry but that is f***ing ridiculous, whether you're joking or not.

Everything has 'gone her way'?

As if anyone would want to be told they might only have 24 hours to live, just to get a hit. Ludicrous.

Bublé could go top 10 with Hollywood after tonight. My Wicked Heart is so far the only XF guest performance to not make it (besides OMG but that was only half a performance, and going back up to #35 after already selling so much isn't a bad showing)
