For the Hard Candy sessions Madonna worked with Pharrell Williams on a song called "Beat Goes On" with his vocals on etc. The song later leaked online late 2007. Then when Madonna spotted Kanye West was recording in the same studio as her she asks him to do a rap on one of her songs which would be "Beat Goes On" BUT it was totally different to the demo version and the Kanye version would make the final album tracklisting for Hard Candy.

Which do you prefer:

The Pharrell Or Kanye version?.

I prefer the Kanye version as it's more polished and was worthy of a single release imo. The Pharrell version was a good a demo.

I agree, although neither are that good as songs. Fillers.

I could of imagined the Kanye version as a single!.

Pharrell's all the way.

should have been a single this song screams HIT!! Pharell still produced the updated version.
