I'm not sure if I was entirely won over by the peanut sequence, it all seemed a little bit TOO bizarre.. especially with the massive signs on the wall saying NO NUTS

Amazing episode so far tonight. Fairly scary as well ... love how dark it is, yet manages to be quite funny too. Easily one of the best TV shows around.

Yeah probably one of my favourite episodes of the TV series so far to date. Just stunning, the whole psycho addicted to games was really well done and actually genuinely scary at points (felt like a horror film at times!) and was really scared something would happen to Alisha or one of the main crew. Did wonder how the future Simon would work, so kind of makes sense that he died for her ... will be good to see how her and 'normal' Simon pan out now. A rocky start to this series I thought, but it's definetly firmly back on track after tonight .
Yeah really like the direction the show is taking. I get the feeling a lot more happens in each episode compared to last season. Love how Simon is getting more focus in episodes. He's the best character IMO.

Alisha's slowly turning out to be my favourite. Thought she was pretty boring last season, but she's great this season. Kelly's still good but needs her own storyline I think.
yeah i agree kelly needs a good storyline because all we've really seen of her up until now is the whole her and simon thing and when she found out about her superpower. she's such a good character it's a shame she's not shown more :(
Oh the video game man was totally ridiculous and wonderful at the same time. I also laughed at the quite unceremonious dispatching of Eco-Warrior guy. I thought they'd at least keep him until the episode end.

This show just gets better and better  Tonight's episode wasn't quite as good as last week's, but still pretty strong ... good to see Kelly get a storyline as well, even if the twist at the end was absolutely ridiculous.

Alisha is fast becoming my favourite character too.

Tonight's episode was FANTASTIC. It had everything; the joy of Misfits is that they can take something so UTTERLY ridiculous and lame as a bloke with superpowers over MILK, and turn it into total OMFG heart-in-mouth drama. That moment when Kelly announced she was dead was a heartstopper, and then that guy finding the one loophole around Nathan's power...I genuinely thought it was all over, until of course you hit Curtis, who makes a for a handy reset button (I really hope they avoid the temptation to overuse that little nugget though).

i completely agree! at the beginning i thought the milk thing was a bit cheesy no pun intended, the same with the nut thing a few weeks ago but like you say they manage to turn it into really compelling viewing which is amazing. and yeah i hope they don't resort to just rewinding time through that much stuff again. was kinda hoping to see how the whole simon finding out about the other version of himself was gonna turn out..

and when kelly died!

Amazing episode, really thought for a second that'd be it and that'd be how Misfits ended. I would've been so annoyed, although as soon as Curtis said he was lactose intolerant I thought they might go for it. Easy option, but I think it's only been used once so it's all okay.

All I know is I just want Alisha & Simon to fall in love again. They're so cute together! :(

LOL!!! When Nathan 'attacked' the placenta, swear down, that's the funniest thing I have seen a long long long long time!
Oh how interesting was the ending to the christmas episode. Cant wait to see if they stick with their old powers or go for new ones, which will reinvent the show!

I think it's safe to assume they go for new ones. We know the future version of Simon had superpowers his present version didn't, and we'd already been told Curtis' power had been sold off and couldn't be gotten back. And I can't see why Alisha would want her spectactularly USELESS powers back at all.

I enjoyed the Christmas special, a great end to a fantastic series. The screwed up nativity was MARVELLOUS, and I loved all the blatant disrespecting of the Catholic Church and all the talk of killing Jesus. Only Misfits could get away with that

I really like misfits

Season 2 was just as good as the first. I was disappointed in the xmas special. I didn't see the relevence in that guy claiming to be jesus. I felt that was leading up to something where in actual fact it led to nothing. It seemed too safe and easy the way they finally had defeated him.

The ending was abrupt but needed to be. Will be interesting to see what powers the get. I hope Alisha gets a better power. She had the crappiest power out of them all but it was relevent to her character as a whole.

I wonder if Nathan and that pregnant girl will still be together. I liked that sub plot. Plus it gives the writers more to do with Nathan as at some point he will become too predictable.

I started to watch season 1 on Friday, and by the end of the week-end, I had already watched the whole of season 1 and episodes 1-4 of season 2 ! On both Friday and Saturday nights I came back drunk from the club but I still couldn't resist and had to watch an other episode at like 5am

This is like the best TV show ever

Oh no :( I really warmed to him in the end ... I think it could be okay, but he was pretty much the focus of the show imo.
Well that's a bit of a disaster. The cast are great and all, but Robert Sheehan really was the star of the show, and they're going to have to REALLY pull something out of the bag to replace him.
