November 5, 201014 yr Nadine has sold 500 physical copies of her single apparently by Friday yet she isn't in the top-10 here. Not everything is done in the physical part of the market then.
November 5, 201014 yr Like a G6 fake version wont be counted will it? they seriously need to release that! :( and yep, Take That next week, JLS the week after and maybe even the 22nd as well, or maybe Olly could get it- not really sure about Duffy, I think top 5 at best for that edit: wait nope, X Factor finalists :( Edited November 5, 201014 yr by chart wizard
November 5, 201014 yr Oh gosh, I hope Katy Perry does manage to beat Bruno Mars in the end. :D Also, I thought The Flood would've sold more this week. :( And amazing that Like A G6 would probably be top 40 if it was chart-eligible! :o And why is Eminem credited on Airplanes?
November 5, 201014 yr Author Nadine has sold 500 physical copies of her single apparently by Friday yet she isn't in the top-10 here. Not everything is done in the physical part of the market then. I didn't even know there was a physical available. Is it exclusive to some Supermarket?

Why is Eminem credited? Maybe because he's on it!
November 5, 201014 yr Why is Eminem credited? Maybe because he's on it! He's on 'Airplanes Part II' which is not available for purchase unless you buy the whole album.
November 5, 201014 yr I didn't even know there was a physical available. Is it exclusive to some Supermarket? Yep, Tesco.
November 5, 201014 yr Why is Eminem credited? Maybe because he's on it! I know he's on it, but you can't buy that version. :( It's album only, so the only way I know of that you can legally obtain the song is to buy the entire album. But anyway, the version with Eminem has sold 0 copies (although, in my experience, it seems to be just as popular as Part I), plus Airplanes Part II isn't the single, Part I is, so either way, I can't see why he's credited. I wish they'd put it up for download though. Even though it's not so popular now, and most people have got it via other means, it'd still sell 100,000 at least...
November 5, 201014 yr Author Yep, Tesco. Cheers Tom. Obviously Tesco don't have as many customers as Asda i.e. Andre! I've added it to the Physical Top Ten, by proxy!

Must go to iMesh then  Radio Stations have this special 12inch vinyl copy. I've got it.
November 5, 201014 yr Cheers Tom. Obviously Tesco don't have as many customers as Asda i.e. Andre! I've added it to the Physical Top Ten, by proxy! Lol, actually Tesco has nearly double... 30.7% of market compared to Asda's 17.3%... :)
November 5, 201014 yr What as disaster this single has become for Nadine  Really hope it can at least make the Top 25- but the way it's falling on iTunes it's not looking good, is it?
November 5, 201014 yr Author Lol, actually Tesco has nearly double... 30.7% of market compared to Asda's 17.3%... :) But the ratio of Andre Vs Coyle must have been won by Andre on the overall Physical sale...I mean not that high on iTunes last week. It came out as overall number 37 on the download chart, became number 2 physical & reached 14 on the R1 Chart. What we got on Coyle? Number 4 Physical, top 30 overall on itunes for the week. Although these 2 both have the common denominator of the big ego. Did you hear Coyle on the Radio last week? My goodness, she think's she's summat! As for Greasy Andre, I think we've covered the reason of the low sale. People are sick of egotistic, so called "stars". Plus you have to be about 12 to want to buy them in the first place. :teresa:
November 6, 201014 yr Must go to iMesh then  Radio Stations have this special 12inch vinyl copy. I've got it. Yeah, I once heard Fearne Cotton playing it on Radio 1 about 4 months ago, but thats the only time I heard it. Is the vinyl copy you mentioned available to buy by the general public, or was it distributed solely to radio?
November 6, 201014 yr Still really surprised to see JLS Number 1 on Pre-orders Westlifes single has been pushed back a week, so is now released on the 15th and not the 8th
November 6, 201014 yr Author Yeah, I once heard Fearne Cotton playing it on Radio 1 about 4 months ago, but thats the only time I heard it. Is the vinyl copy you mentioned available to buy by the general public, or was it distributed solely to radio? Only distributed to radio. It's a shame though. They could've got some extra sales had it been released, & even to the Eminem fans too. That's the one we play on the Fresh Hit40 on HeartFM Spain, Sundays at 4pm.
November 6, 201014 yr Yes, it was a very strange decision to make Part II album only, it would have had huge sales as a cherry-pick.
November 6, 201014 yr Only distributed to radio. It's a shame though. They could've got some extra sales had it been released, & even to the Eminem fans too. That's the one we play on the Fresh Hit40 on HeartFM Spain, Sundays at 4pm. They have HeartFM in Spain!?!?! I'm guessing it's a bit different to Heart FM in the UK though. They'd never, ever, ever play Airplanes II, as they hate anything Eminem. I reckon they might cave and play Love the Way You Lie Part II, but they'll definitely completely cut out Eminem's part. :( But yeah, Airplanes Part II would've sold loads. I really can't see the logic in not putting it up for sale, unless they were scared it would out-popularize the original version (but even if it did, would that have been a bad thing?).
