Nelly Furtado names new album

Nelly FurtadoMusicNelly Furtado has revealed details of her new album, due to be released next year.

 

According to The Canadian Press, the forthcoming LP will be called Lifestyle and has been described by the singer as "a mixed bag of sorts".

 

Of her new record, she said: "The singing, I think, has improved as a result of my Spanish-language album and that experience. I'm singing with a lot more passion and, kind of, I don't know, trying to find new terrain again of some kind."

 

Furtado will release a Best Of collection next month, which features three new songs including single 'The Night Is Young'.

 

Well we already knew it was "Lifestyle", but pleased to hear she hasn't TOTALLY abandoned this, because it was looking that way...

I still think she should have doen the album first, and the GH next year or so

I hate mixed bags. I like my albums cohesive -_-

I dont understand the point in releasing a greatest hits followed very shortly afterwards by a new studio album. It would have been better to just release an album of new material and delay the greatest hits until she had more material for it.

I suspect the new album won't actually be coming out "shortly" after the GH. She's delayed already...

A lot of artists always say a new studio album will be released within a few months of a GH but it NEVER happens.
