Ridiculous price. If they had any decency they'd send one to Jasna. He obviously managed to find the time to autograph these then? Silly me, there's money involved this time <_<

aww you're so kind Jups

Yeah... I'd rather have a two way ticket to London and one for one of the TT concerts next year

I received an email from one of the admins on rw.com forum (at least I think she's one of the admins there  )

Many thanks Jasna, I will pass it on to who is dealing with your prize, won't be until Monday morning now, things are moving at long last re. your prize :)

fingers crossed

What a stupid price to ask for a print that isn't even a brilliant photo imo

Having said that, if anyone wants to buy one for me for Christmas, feel free :P

Fans fury as Robbie Williams flogs autographed pictures of himself for £550 each

http://i52.tinypic.com/258cr5i.jpg

Millionaire pop star Robbie Williams has outraged even his most loyal fans... by touting signed photos for an “obscene” £550. ( I agree :puke2: )

Take That singer Robbie – who has an estimated fortune of £80million – is selling the black and white prints on his official website. Each photo of him posing in an open-top car costs £549.99 plus up to £12.34 for postage.

Robbie’s website boasts of the images: “Whilst 250 of these prints were produced, only 30 of them were signed by Robbie... making them truly collectable items.”

But fan Rachel Woodrow wrote on a Robbie web forum: “Too many starving people in world to justify obscene amount for a photo.” Another, Julia Cook, stormed: “Love you Rob. But £549.99 for the print… you’re having a laugh.”

The photo was taken by Robbie’s favourite photographer, Julian Broad, for his new greatest hits collection In And Out Of Consciousness, which is number one in the album charts.

Robbie, 36, will join the rest of Take That on a money-spinning tour next summer and next month sees the release of the first single in 15 years to feature all five members.

Just bought it! It is brilliant!

   who am I trying to fool...

Who would waste so much money for such an insignificant + worthless picture? Even the ones from his diaries are better!

I'd rather have one more year on University, instead of one photo. This picture thing is such a silly move.

Perhaps he's run out of money  reunion with TT and these autographed photos will definitely help him

I honestly wonder what's the reason behind this circus  If it was for his charity -ok... but it doesn't say anywhere that it is

but seriously, if he were loaded, he wouldn't need the money from the photographs and if he's doing it only for his fans so we could have him on our bedroom wall, he's nuts. He should know his fans are not Rockefellers. <_<

In fairness - I highly doubt Robbie is even aware of this scam. And I'm not being a naive fan by saying that, I just honestly doubt Rob takes the interest is things like this. I also highly doubt he is aware of the Jasna's prize. He is probably just told to sign this and sign that - it is his management or the those to run the website who are to blame This is an outrageous scam and according to Twitter there are only a handful left now - so either they are bull$h!ting or there are some very rich Robbie fans out there

I am glad the Mirror has made a big deal about this. It might catch Rob's attention - although even if he thinks it is ridiculous - I doubt he will be arsed to do anything about it. It's Rob afterall.

I agree with Scotty...I doubt Robbie has any say in what they do with the photos. They probably just tell him to sign them and that they'll be sold to fans.
And it's not even a chest hair photo -_-

and I think that's the main reason I'm not too fond of the photo...................... I only realized it when you said it

Niro, that probably isn't true ("only a handful left now"). They wouldn't attract anyone if they didn't say that there's only one left :w00t: get it now or suffer forever :w00t: when in fact there's a whole bunch of his photos in a dark room somewhere... and of course THEM he had the time to sign.

erm yeah... I would like to think that Rob's not at all aware of what's going on on his site... but he's said several times in interviews that he spends hours in front of the computer (often checking the forums if I remember correctly  ) so I doubt that there's a chance he's not familiar with the SuperFan competition and the prize he was supposed to sign and I was supposed to receive 10 MONTHS AGO :arrr: :arrr: :arrr: :arrr: or with the photo that they're selling at this ridiculous price

If he does know all this... then he either does not care (which breaks my heart  ) or he really needs the money as I said in my last post....

I don't know what to think... I know nobody's perfect + it's not his job to worry about the silly competitions on his website but I would like to think that he honestly cares about his fans... I mean, he's a fan of someone too!!!!!! but then again, he has the money to buy all their gold/platinum records with an autograph and get them to sing and have dinner and a sleepover at his house <_< so that goes down the drain.....

blah. I'm just a stupid naive person who likes him so much that I would defend him even if I knew it was all his fault from the beginning

sorry for that stream of consciousness above.

You are more understanding than I'd have been in your situation. I'd have gone to the papers. The trashy ones. -_-
