Posted October 24, 201014 yr Russell Brand and Katy Perry reportedly wed yesterday in India. E! claims that the couple were married in a traditional Hindu ceremony in Jaipur, India. Perry's best friend Rihanna was present at the nuptials and is believed to have been her maid of honour. Although details about the event are scarce, the couple set up a wide variety of entertainment in the days leading up to the ceremony, including a large bazaar outside the Rambagh Palace and a cocktail party ahead of the wedding. No media were allowed inside the event, aside from a previously arranged deal with one British magazine. Brand and Perry announced their engagement in December 2009 after meeting during filming for Brand's film Get Him To The Greek.

Though I do think she should've at least gone for the wedding, but hey, we don't know the full reason why she didn't go, so we can't judge. -_-
