Think Ticket Soup is a Scottish company. No, just paid face value.

No, none of those tickets are actually for me. One set are for a friend and her husband. One set are for a friend and her boyfriend. But boyfriend not overly keen so I think his ticket is mine if I want it. I'm waiting to make sure Robbie is going to turn up before I make my final decision :P

No

That's so close to my village too. Didn't know they had started holding concerts there

Do you have a racecourse there?

Westlife and The Wanted are playing racecourse venues, they are

on the list for Newmarket races too near me.

Cheap tickets, probably only about 20 - 30 quid!

That's if you are a Wanted or Westlife fan of course :P

Tom Jones is playing at Newmarket, I'm tempted to go

Yeah, Hamilton racecourse is near me. It's just along from ASDA if you're going :P

Tom Jones.. the crowd will be manic :o

So how many of you here are bothering going to the concerts? I'm a bit surprised to be honest (and a bit disappointed in you) I didn't think any of you would be going at all (not even for the TT & Robbie bits) I'm assuming its because it could be the last time you see Robbie live as I'm sure you'll be going to the bar when TT4 comes on. Its a pity people can't 'Time Share' tickets!

Time share sounds like a brill idea Kath  It might indeed be the last time we get a chance the the Robster B)

I always wanted to see the PSB's :w00t: .. we might need to air the Boa's though

I'm not sure I'd even be interested in the TT4/5 bit of the ticket now though ... although there is a small corner of my mind that has been piqued by a touch of curiosity to see Rob's solo stint (40 minutes would be quite enough time to satisfy that curiosity).

Don't understand why you are disappointed in Robbie fans going?

There's quite a few going that I know of, just to see Robbie solo, and why shouldn't we. Pet Shop Boys added bonus now! :w00t:

Maybe some of us are curious to see how good TT are supposed to be live, although 40 mins of them on stage could be enough for us too!

I hope I'm pleasantly surprised in regards to TT's performance.

Not disappointed that Robbie fans are going - I suppose I'm just very surprised that you'd pay to go and see a concert that Rob's only doing 40 minutes on (assuming the bits with TT don't count and that you wouldn't be seen dead within a 1,000 mile radius of a TT concert)

I'm sure you'll have a wonderful time ... just remember to smuggle your own drinks and eating necessities in or else you'll be ripped off senseless. It cost £2 for a tray of crap chips at LCC and £2 for a bottle of water!!!!!!! Remember to buy one of those cheap plastic disposable ponchos beforehand - just to be on the safe side. I took my own to The Circus tour (free - courtesy of the AA - its a long story) but would have been charged £3 once inside!!!

 Well I paid to go and see a concert that Robbie only did 20 mins before so I'm gaining an extra 20 mins this time

Well you got more value than my friend had at a Van Morrison concert! Seriously - a few years back her and her partner went to watch him. According to my friend ... there was an announcement over the tannoy (for all those loitering early around the bar area) that Mr Morrison would like to perform his set BEFORE the support act as he needed to be elsewhere. She and her partner giggled and then made their way to their seats. He came on and started to sing - when someone took a photo with a flash. He then apparently stopped singing and said that he was there to perform and not be photographed and if one more person took a photo he'd end the session. Well he was about three bars into his song and a flash went ... and apparently ... off went Mr Morrison! My friend thought it was hilarious!

From what I've seen from the Circus DVD it must have been a beautiful tour. I just cannot picture Robbie in it doing the dance routines and then singing come undone or feel... It just makes no sence

It turned out I will be busy at the university around the time my ticket was for so it made my choice much easier indeed.

Appart from Robbie being a bit outlandish/possessed in some TT5 parts I believe it should be a nice show, you will have a great time. And I would definitely sing Patience, Rule the World and Back for Good out loud (all TT4!), although it looks like Gary will be singing it for Robbie :P )

A friend of mine paid to see Eric Clapton & it rained during the performance & Eric went off stage & never came back ... the crowd were not best pleased

I would pay to see Robbie for 20 mins as I doubt I will ever see him again so why not ;)

I wouldn't be surprised if they actually did Rob's punked version of BFG - I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that Gary himself was a bit tired of singing it all the time.

nah that won't happen kath, rob's version of back for good was awful. if they chose that version over gary's version there would be alot of unhappy take that fans. rob has a large enough role anyways with his 40min solo set, could it be magic, everything changes, part of never forget and then half the progress album.

Rather interesting Word podcast on iTunes with Neil Tennant on May 5th <_<

On the tour here will be TT x 4, TT x 5, Robbie & the actual show also inludes The PSB's, not just as support act but as part of the show itself. .... this is fantastic news

I doubt now that Robbie will have a 40 min solo slot but who cares ... I am getting two of my favourite artists in Robbie & the PSB's so I am really happy :cheer:

TT asked PSB's & initially they turned & I am not surprised as I always doubted that the PSB's were going to be just a support act

You can hear Neil talk about it @2.55
