September 25, 201014 yr Author Wow... Westlife fans are so delusional, it's ridiculous. Gary's an amazing vocalist as well as Robbie and the other 3(Jay, Howard and Mark) are not bad either. At least, they are definitely way better than those blond guys from Westlife. Nicky and Kein? Sorry, i don't know their names. I actually don't understand why they were chosen to be in a music band in the first place? They have no talent whatsoever. Gary's voice is so flexibile and smooth.. and it's CLASSY. He has such a wide vocal range he could sing EVERYTHING.Those 2 pathetic Wl fans obviously have never heard TT live.As for Westlife. Well, I for one, can't stand WL's gay one( Mark?) singing. He ALWAYS sounds like he's singing through his nose as if he has cold or someting. This ''stuffy nose'' way of singing annoys me so much. As for Shane, he always sounds the same. There's no passion, no emotions in his voice. It's flat, it's dire, it's forgettable. At least, you can always define Robbie by his UNIQUE vocals. Westlife? Blunt, dull, boring, talentless... Haha. . . Are you serious? Have u ever heard Westlife live??? (also nicky and "kien"!) And shane no emotions?????? Oh come on. . . There is no more boring singer than robbie. . . =)
September 28, 201014 yr Have they have always Shanks as a producer and writter or are all now in the TakeThat boat and trying to copy their success? (like Boyzone :P , used to like their first two singles after reuniting, but as a TT copy i don't like them - still they had more chart success with Shanks producing, so "copying the trend" payed for them  ). September 28, 201014 yr But I believe Mark Feehily has a much bigger vocal rangeAs i said, Mark's voice has some jingling sound to it.It feels like his voice vibrates while singing. To me, it's kinda off putting, sorry. I've seen quite a few their perfomances and he sounds out of tune most of the time.Mark's voice is limited to a certain degree where he only can show off his ability in singing power ballads or soul\'rnb. A good capable vocalist can sing EVERYTHING. And Gary's a perfect example of a perfectly capable vocalist. Regarding their songwriting abilities, don't even get me started. As for the new album- Is it even normal to record an album in 10 days these days?(because that's what Westlife did).I mean,Take That took 2 years off to write and record an album. They were ALL involved in this creative process putting their ideas together. They are a serious, credible band unlike Westlife. Have they have always Shanks as a producer and writter or are all now in the TakeThat boat and trying to copy their success? They probably thought he could write another Patience or Rule The World for them...Little did they know it was TT members who wrote these pop classic hits not Shanks.I am glad TT were smart enough to get rid of him this time. He started to bore the hell outta me. His works sound repetitive. This particular song "Safe" already bored me to death even though i haven't heard it in HQ yet. Lets just hope Westlife won't steel TT's producer STUART PRICE for their next album because thats what they do for the past years- copy Take That in every possible way. As Jason Orange said:" "Imitation Is The Best Form Of Flattery". I am sure Take That boys wouldn't mind.
October 4, 201014 yr Take That fans just got PRESSED on posting on a Westlife topic for the first time?? I believe every band have their weaknesses and strengths SO DO TAKE THAT and WESTLIFE. If anyone of you haven't realized that, I can repeat this statement anytime. Gary or any on TT weren't on any level of Shane's and mark's voice quality and vocal range and Kian's rocky voice and Nicky's husky voice. and YES when the band is with Robbie, their music was crap and haven't they had COVERS too? and then TT stopped for a while leaving their fans afterwards after Robbie lost his track  On the positive note, I really adore Robbie's voice and solo debut songs and Take That's SONGWRTING is truly exceptional! But Westlife have written of songs on World of Our Own, Where we Are and on this upcoming album. :) Westlife were not copycats to Take That's success. So Leona and other else who came with John Shanks were all copycats too? and in fact, Take That is taking more of the Beatles-ish copying track while Westlife doing their own style in pop genre. Actually, their genre is mixed with RnB, jazz, rock, dance, electronic, acoustic. while Take that has got rock? acoustic? upbeat Shine? boring? In fact, it has been their time to collaborate with Westlife. Here's the timeline: JOHN SHANKS with BSB: Never Gone and Unbreakable; TAKE THAT: Beautiful World and Circus, now Westlife. Did you get? They are releasing loads of covers as first single before because IT WASN'T THEIR TIME (I don't know if you do get it). In UK< they need to earn money for living so do the record labels and at the same time, they need to get to UK music in high spirits to keep their popularity going. Covers were practically the protocol of the record label while boybands fame worldwide is into rest. I've waited for this time for them to release an ORIGINAL LEAD SINGLE and here's the NEW wonderful 1 MINUTE clip of Safe (Mark singing)

October 5, 201014 yr Its decent enough as far as a Westlife single goes I guess- still awfully cheesy though :P Kudos to them for not doing another cover I guess Edited October 5, 201014 yr by chart wizard
