Irish singer Brian McFadden has admitted he would love to reunite with old band Westlife and show Take That and JLS what they are 'really made of'.

The 30-year-old star left the boy band in 2004 to pursue a solo career but has told his Twitter fans that he would love to sing with them again.

Westlife's new single Safe recently entered the UK singles at number 10 with other boy bands such as McFly, Take That and JLS charting higher.

He recently wrote on his Twitter page: "I had a dream tonight I was back on stage with westlife playing some crazy sized flootball [sic] stadium. I'm not gonna lie! I woke up smiling.

"If I'm to be honest yes I would love to do an album with boys and show jls and take that what we are really made of!

"If the boys wanna challenge these newcomers I am always up for a fight. Thay know where. I am. Armed and ready to reclaim glory!"

He later added: "The reason I'm feeling like this is I watch my boys release an incredible emmotive song ang video and it play third fiddle to average.

"When will folk [give] them the credit they deserve. They are not xfactor band. They hard working creative machine who sacrafised a lot to get here.

"They will always be my brothers. No matter what happens I will support them til the day they hang up the mikes."

So when not even f***ing Delta Goodrem can get you a hit in Australia where she's EVERYWHERE [literally, there was like 12ft banners of her and that sunsilk ad in my local shopping centre for 3months] it goes crawling back to pestlife.

Good! Fingers crossed they go on tour somewhere and get a nasty throat infection and can never sing again. Vile things that they are.

He later added: "The reason I'm feeling like this is I watch my boys release an incredible emmotive song ang video and it play third fiddle to average.

What he means is by-numbers album filler that sounds like it's straight out of 2002.

I will support them til the day they hang up the mikes."

Estimated to be happening around never :w00t:

I merged the two threads together. Tyron was actually referring to Charis' post about Brian wanting to reunite with Westlife

Gravity is AMAZING!

I'm hoping 'I Will Reach You' or 'Beautiful Tonight' is the second single. They are brilliant at uptempos and deffinely need more in their singles collection. Love Marks writing recently too, I really liked 'Reach Out' from the last album but was hoping he would write an uptempo and he did and I honestly think it's one of Westlife better songs in such a long time.

Anyone else thinks it's kinda funny that westlifes fanbase (including myself obv) was disappointed at Safe going in at #10... I sort of forgot that is their 25th consecitive top 10 single. That's just insane. I do like Safe but it wasn't really the lead single they needed to grab everyones attention, Beautiful Tonight and I Will Reach You would have done a much better job.

ok Sabrina. but I think that same way goes, he doesn't care to Brian reuniting, same that he doesn't care to this topic.

Anyway, I honestly don't want Brian to be back.

Yeah Electro Jess, Gravity is amazing!

I had a laugh when Charis got a reply to have sex with Westlife because he just come to Buzzjack because of Westlife. (On Sunday predictions i think)

that's why I don't discuss much with other topics here as I want to because there's so many Westlife hate here. Maybe that's why Charis and other Westlife fans tend to discuss Westlife only and no other else because of some of the member's attitude towards the Westlife fans and Westlife.

I'm really getting bored of the media asking Westlife if he's coming back, how many times do they have to say no? If they did they would only be accussed of copying TT anyway. I agree with Westlife when they say it's not the same, Take That are the UK's biggest boyband, Robbie one of the biggest solo artists. Like they said it wouldn't be such a big deal if Brian came back because they aren't on that scale. I find Brians tweets sort of cute and it's lovely of him to say that, but him re-joining would not help Westlife take on TT or JLS, they'd probably end up loosing more fans than they gain, although he probably said it in jest. I do see them performing together again though, just not recording.

I wont be surprised in the least if he indeed rejoins them. And their next album will probably be produced by Stuart Price.... Because its all they do for the past couple of years- copy TT in every possible way.

I think it's more Westlife just admire Take That, they are huge fans and respect their success, since 2000 westlife have said that Take That has always been an inspiration for them, they grew up watching them. Every interview they are in they say how they are massive fans, they said yesterday that Gary and Mark used to come and see them when they performed in Manchester and they seemed really excited about it. I think the fact Westlife career seems to follow Take Thats is because SyCo don't take risks with their male artists, they sit and watch to see what works for others and then try and get them to work for their artists instead of going out and looking for new talent themselves. This time it has worked though this album is one of their strongest in a while, I really still want them to take a few more risks though. SyCo choose the most westlife sounding song for the lead single that even the fanbase struggled to get excited about; Beautiful Tonight, I Will Reach You or No One's Gonna Sleep Tonight would have got so much more interest.
