Posted October 25, 201014 yr mzXPw1j-H28 I am literally obsessed with these girls at the moment (I'm driving my BF insane :lol:) Anyway, Girls Generation aka SNSD aka So Neun Shin Dae aka Shoujo Jidai (these girls have more names than Gary has pictures of half-naked soap hunks) are about to release their new single in Korea, which is this rather fine Beautiful Stranger meets the Spice Girls entire back catalogue 90s-pop-alike. It's good, but to be honest I was disappointed as first... it's nowhere near as good as their current Japanese hit single Gee, which has just debuted at #2 (the highest that a Korean grl group has ever got in that country): 8smmHNoi21c They've also covered Kesha's Run Devil Run in Korean, and Natalie Makona's I Just Wanna Dance (as Genie) in Japanese and Korean. But my favourite Korean song of theirs is Oh, from their second mini-album (it works differently over there :lol:), Oh, which reminds me a lot of my favourite Japanese girl group Perfume... ilPKW_3F8G0 So, any other fans? October 28, 201014 yr When I was on holiday April this year (in the Philippines), 'Oh!' and 'Run Devil Run' were their most recently popular songs there. That type of music is the dominating music which they call K-Pop. It hasn't went away for over a year now like UK Urban Music. And yeah, these girls look fine even if there are too many. :kink:

The only thing I can remember from these guys are this: AAWqnA8PdcY and a507jISnumU :heehee: The latter was like Top 5 for like 12 weeks on a music channel's Top 20 international voting chart (which has some meh tracks often which seems to be voted enough to chart there).

Their comeback has been pushed 2 weeks later which I'm f***ing pissed about as I was about to chart them this week!! October 12, 201113 yr Mainly for SNSD lovers here (few but still...) SNSD officially joins Universal Music Group for U.S. debut! SM Entertainment previously announced plans on releasing SNSD‘s upcoming album “The Boys“ worldwide, and it seems their plans on doing so have been officially confirmed! On October 12th, SM Entertainment revealed that SNSD will release a maxi single (similar to a mini-album) in the United States sometime in November through the well known Universal Music Group under Interscope Records, which currently houses extremely famous talents such as Lady Gaga, Eminem and the Black Eyed Peas. Together with Universal Music Group, SNSD’s “The Boys” full-length album is expected to be released in Europe, South America, and other countries all around the world as well. Furthermore, the girls who had postponed their comeback date in order to better market their album internationally have confirmed their comeback schedule by revealing their release date to be October 19th. This includes an official iTunes release, music video premiere through SM Entertainment’s official YouTube channel and Facebook, and lastly the physical album release in Korea. Their title track ‘The Boys’ is the masterpiece of none other than Teddy Riley, who in the past has served as the producer of the legendary Michael Jackson. Teddy has put together a trendy track with a beat & melody that’s sure to widely please all listeners world-wide. I don't think it's just via iTunes as all their stuff is practically available on iTunes now through SM Entertainment, they wouldn't go on the hassle to get signed by Universal Music just to release their songs and album on the iTunes if they already can using their own record label in the US...
