November 3, 201014 yr Author No it wasn't, it was quite awkward backpacking with a backpack, shoulder bag and another bag of CDs and souvenirs  Oh really? Her stuff this year has been OK, but so many tracks from the self titled album are better. I preferred Part 2 to Part 1 personally, but I think it would have been better if she'd picked the best 10 or so tracks from all three and released them on one album. I can imagine  I know I find it a nightmare when I go home through the London Underground with my rucksack and then a heavy holdall too - thank goodness it has wheels though! Some people are calling Dancing On My Own/Hang With Me/Indestructible the greatest trio of singles of all time. I can't say I agree with that by any stretch of the imagination although all are very good. The With Every Heartbeat/Handle Me/Be Mine trio was ten times better for a start imo...

I totally understand what you mean, I've done the London Underground with a suitcase, holdall and shoulder bag. The suitcase handle broke when I got off at Paddington too :drama: - absolute nightmare! I agree with you regarding the singles from "Robyn", far better than the last three singles imo.

The suitcase handle broke when I got off at Paddington too :drama: - absolute nightmare! I agree with you regarding the singles from "Robyn", far better than the last three singles imo. Disaster! I have nightmares of my bag splitting open or something and having no way to carry everything  I could only help that a passing commuter would give me a spare carrier bag that they happened to have or something! Definitely, 2007 was a peak for her success wise and creatively imo, even if those songs were all from 2005/6 originally :heehee:
November 4, 201014 yr Robyns new material hasn't grabbed me at all, i find her earlier stuff to be better as well. I empathise with you on the travelling front Coming home from Aus i had two very big cases, and two items of hand luggage Transferring through Los Angeles was just delifghtful. Attempting to move away from security at LAX with two heavy bags, a laptop case whilst trying to stuff things in my pockets, put shoes on and hold up my trousers while putting the belt back on was the worst experience of my life :drama:

That's my favourite song from the Body Talk era thus far  Oh dear, that sounds like a disaster  Security checks at airports are never fun at the best of times. I'm prone to getting searched!
November 4, 201014 yr Not yet i haven't. I'll youtube it later. I got explosive tested 3 times in Aus while flying domestically. Suppose it made up for never having to show a passport or photo id.

November 4, 201014 yr No, its a random test straight after security, if you happen to be first person finished after they've cleared someone you get roped in to do it next. It was a quick an painless experience.
November 7, 201014 yr Author This is now out on iTunes as I said it would be :P Sounds even more COMPLETELY EPIC in HQ
November 7, 201014 yr I always come back with insane amounts of CDs from holiday too... meant to buy a French iTunes card cos they get most European/US stuff before we do (and obviously French music) but I couldn't find any anywhere? Tbh this isn't really grabbing me yet :( Maybe I need to give it some time...
November 11, 201014 yr Author Album's out on Sunday on iTunes, could be the surprise package of the year? If this is the sort of music she's making on her debut, right out of an Idols competition, I can only imagine her future potential :o
November 15, 201014 yr Author The album's out on iTunes, just got £1.79 off the price seeing as I'd already downloaded Million Pieces and White Light Moment as singles!
November 16, 201014 yr I thought i would give this a listen considering 'White Light Moment' is becoming one of my favourite tracks of the year after just a few weeks, here's my quick review: 09.0 Beating On A Better Drum - What great production, so dark, a strong opener. 08.5 Stalker In Your Speaker - Much more lightweight pop, infectiously catchy, the middle eight is the hightlight. 08.0 High & Low - Wow this could of came straight of a Visage 1980s album, very lightweight again, somewhat dreamy. 07.0 Million Pieces - This is one of them tracks that really works much better with the album, still nothing special though. 07.5 Chaos - The chorus to this is quite gorgeous, its let down a bit by somewhat bland verses though, plods along nicely though. 07.0 Bad Time For A Good Time - I cannot put my finger on what this reminds me of, i have no clue why her voice is somewhat Rachel Stevens esque in places, not a highlight anyway. 09.5 Close Enough - The production on this is brilliant, one of the biggest growers, rather fantastic from beginning to end. 09.0 Love You And Leave You - Again cannot fault the production, its a shame theres not more of a chorus because its all its lacking to make it perfect. 07.0 Four Elements - Somewhat Ellie Goulding esque, somewhat spacy, somewhat average verses, but a pleasant chorus indeed. 07.5 Walking My Daydream - I'd say pretty similar to above to be honest ^, nice but nothing special. 10.0 White Light Moment - Perfect pop, perfect production, so catchy and joyous, one of the best tracks of 2010. Overall: Well wow this album has some slick production, there's not a duff track on there and i suspect the weaker tracks will grow on me aswell, very matue indeed for someone so young.
November 18, 201014 yr Downloading White Light Moment from iTunes the now and guess who popped up in the recommendations! Sibel! Had no idea iTunes UK actually had out and out pure Schlager hidden there!
December 7, 201014 yr Surprised there's not more love for her out there. 'Beating On A Better Drum' has grown to become my favourite, absolutely LOVE the moment when the chorus comes in just how deliciously dark and amazing the production is.
February 8, 201114 yr *Yesterday :kink: I said how late he was, and he admitted that he knew it but had no time to post it :(
February 8, 201114 yr Author *Yesterday :kink: I said how late he was, and he admitted that he knew it but had no time to post it :( Oh  I didn't go on PJ yesterday and saw it still there when I posted this! Really? He's had time to post plenty of other crap as song of the day in the meantime!
February 8, 201114 yr @Popjustice incredible track, absolutely incredible but your a little late on this one. Surprised its taken till now for it to hit ur radar @pbk1989 I've had it since last year but didn't get a chance to write about it at the time. Better later than never!
