New Michael Jackson album announced

Michael JacksonMusicAn album of brand new Michael Jackson songs has been officially announced.

 

Michael will be released on December 13 on Epic Records in conjunction with the estate of the late singer.

 

An exclusive teaser for the project will appear on michaeljackson.com from tomorrow, while a brand new track from the album will stream on the website from Monday.

 

The song, titled 'Breaking News', was recorded by Jackson in New Jersey in 2007 and completed recently.

 

Another unnamed track - billed as "the official lead single" from the LP - will follow later this month.

 

However, the full tracklisting for Michael has yet to be revealed.

seriously can't wait for this. and i'm so pleased with that cover. i was expecting it to be really tacky now that it's out of his control but they've done really well

Breaking News has leaked, and youtube seem to be busy removing them as people upload them.

Im not sure what to expect from the album to be honest with all the rumours etc so i will reserve judgement until it comes out.

I'm sorry but there is no way in the world that is his voice on 'Breaking News'

'Hold My Hand' is now the first single. It is supposedly premiering on his site on Monday.

Can't say I'm looking forward to the 50 Cent collab too much...

the leak of another day that was around a while ago was pretty amazing and i'm guessing they will have polished that one up a bit since so that should be a good one

'Hold My Hand' with Akon is apparently the first single, but I've owned that for literally YEARS. How lazy.

Apparently that wasn't the final version and Akon had added extra production etc. but still, releasing a leaked song as first single?

It all seems a bit half-hearted.

I think money is the whole reason behind this release as the record company want to cash in so the for fans and casual music lovers it all seems of half heartness, although for his fans i do hope there is something there that represents michaels legacy well.
