Well the theme IS American anthems and to be classed "anthemic", surely it'd have to be a classic? :P
...and Kimmy is British, the whole production team is British, the whole song is British...

...but well, it's a lot less farfetched than some choices... *Kelly Clarkson & Bruno Mars musical heroes*

One Direction are performing

'Kids In America'

. AMAZING.

NO

Its my favourite Kim Wilde single

 at

Kids In America being an American Anthem.

Simon Cowell follows the theme rule the least well, saying that though I wonder what they'll give Rebecca or Aiden, Paije will probably get Gnarls Barkley's Crazy, I'm surprised he hasn't done it yet TBH

Oh god what's simon thinking hahaha i hope thats wrong tbh x factor site need to put the songs up haha

I think this week might be the first week I get bored of Matt. I hate that song :( It's been done so many times and isn't even that good. Same goes for 'Make You Feel My Love'. Watch Adele shoot back up the chart again grrrr.

I can't wait to hear Aiden :D He was a bit shaky in the first couple of weeks after 'Mad World' but he turned it around last week. He really needs something outstanding or he will be outsted by Rebecca, One Direction, Matt and Cher methinks.

If it's a double eviction I predict Wagner and TreyC/Katie/Paije to go out. Wagner is so OVER now. It's not even funny anymore :(

Katie doing an actual PROPER song for once shopuld be interesting too. I want to like her but I just can't but maybe she will win me over like Cher did last week. Cheryl seems to have chosen a song that suits her voice anyway.

And finally

ONE MASSIVE KELSEY SIZED  at One Direction.

I Don't Wanna Miss A Thing

Purple Rain

Relight My Fire

Treyc = Male Danyl - 3/5 songs, he sang last year - Rachel Adedeji also performing 'One' - do they not feel like being a bit more experimental (a la Led Zeppelin) more often? :\

yerr am seriously bored with the song rebecca is singing too have heared it too much this series and matt is playing it abit safe singing something hes already done and well aiden a other sad song doesn't suprize me at all when are they gonna move abit where 5 weeks in and there still standing there i dont care if there voice's are amazing its boring if they just stand there and sing a ballady song week after week after week :(

Are you also seriously bored with punctuation and correct grammar?

I'm so not looking forward to Cher tonight... just when I begin to like her and she shows she can sing she goes back to the dullarse rapping.

no i just cant be bothered putting it in on a forum its not like am sitting an english test but thanks for pointing it out sweety shows you spend time looking over it always talked like this and no one else has said nothing show's some have more time on there hand's then others ah well :)

some of those choices are way too safe and have been done to death- Matt's, Treyc's, Mary's and Rebecca's in particular :(

will be interesting to hear Cher, Aiden and Katie's though, Paije could be pretty good too

Wagner will be interesting as always- although, its getting a bit old now :( and One Direction (trust Simon to not stick to the theme, thats sung by a British artist fgs ) will most likely murder it and it will still get heaps of praise from Simon and his minions :(

Let's hope Kim Wilde - Kids In America will get top 10 next week :cheer:

Didn't Matt sing The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face at bootcamp? I remember from that point everyone saying he should win/he become the favourite

I still think he will pull off a great performance despite the song being pretty overused on the show.. The same with Rebecca's song choice

Hits of the USA,

Kids In America

EPIC FAIL -_-

The themes really do get worse every week dont they? American anthems, I mean really. Anyway, I predict someone will sing Dont Stop Believing and someone will sing Leona Lewis (yes I know, she's not American dumbo, I'm just saying how unimportant these themes are.)

Ooh Cher finally on first. Bonus points for Cheryl from me (highlight of Cheryl's night I presume)

Cher = 6.0

Hmmm chav look and hardly as good as last week. Plus, hate that song and her rapping.

Cher- 7/10- she was never going to match last week, there was a few flat notes, but overall another pretty good performance from her :)

I don't think Cher's singing was as good as last week, vocals were a shakier, but I guess it was far more representative of who Cher is.
Cher - Pretty good, but nowhere near as strong as last week for me. 7/10
