I'm glad TreyC has gone tbh. She is just another Alexandra Burke imo and didn't show her identity at all throughout the competition.

 

It was all very fixed though. Cheryl would usually go last, but Dermot was probably told to go to her 2nd as they knew she wouldn't choose

How boring must your life be if the X-factor is supposed to be somewhere for you to watch entertaining, crazy people-get a hobby.People who watch in the hopes that an act with talent will get the oppurtunity to win is why most people watch.It is a complete farce his year.Katie has messed up her audition, judges houses countless sing offs she should have gone and her weak attempt to carry a tune.

 

My life must be boring cos I want to watch entertaining people on TV? Erm yah cos that makes sense. Treyc wasn't going to win. She had talent but so does everyone that's why they're in the top ten (bar Wagner but that's Louis for you). Treyc would go out next week with another boring performance like she has done every other week. There's something different about Katie and she deserved to stay. Maybe she did muck up her sing off performance, but her past catalogue in the live shows have been a hell of alot more interesting than Treyc's.

 

Now, if you really enjoyed watching Treycs performance, then I don't think you're in any position to question how boring anyones life is, thanks.

It's a bit unfair to compare Katie to Jedward, and she isn't a crap singer. You may not like her voice or her tone, but she isn't 'crap'. There is a difference between standing out from the crowd and lacking talent, much like Jedward and *shudder* Wagner.

That is too true there is nothing original about her other than she is truly crap and her voice did not improve over the 5 weeks of live shows.It is a miracle that she managed to get a record deal in the first place.Jedward and Same Difference were far less irritating and far more vocally talented.

Devastated TreyC has gone, she has been in my top 3 since the beginning but I knew it would happen soon, but she is FAR superior to Katie and should have at least outlasted her (and Wagner)

I agree Katie is very talented. In fact, over the years she's won numerous awars for her talent, they include ''World Biggest Div'', ''Worst Person Alive'', and ''Twat Of The Year 2007''

personally, I am glad to see TreyC out- shouty, forgettable and pretty arrogant, she would have gone next week had she stayed- Katie, whilst she isnt liked, is far more interesting and different, and she could do a good performance- when given the right song

 

and Tyron's right- its really nothing new when the better singer gets eliminated over the weaker but more controversial one, I know why Simon does it- the tabloids will go into frenzy, the show will be talked about, and Simon can just sit back and watch everyone talking about his show, plus there will probably be more tabloid rubbish about Katie printed throughout the week and it will keep viewers watching- with TreyC, no one really would have cared had she stayed

 

the Lucie/Jedward incident this time last year was the same case- Jedward were one of the most controversial contestants they've ever had, Simon wasnt about to let them go to a more standard singer when he can have them back next week, plus have tons of controversy about them staying over a genuinely great singer - so he saved them by letting the public decide- knowing they'd likely survive, and they did, I think if there would have been a deadlock tonight- it definitely would've gone there and when Cheryl wouldnt vote, they knew they would have to send TreyC home direct

I think the right one went out of the bottom two, although they shouldn't have been the bottom two in the first place!

Katie's one of my favourites so I'm glad she stayed. :D

 

As for the performances, Shayne's was dull and with Kylie's, the song is so embarrassingly awful I didn't really pay attention to the performance of it!

Dermot did ask for Cheryls vote, numerous times, but she sat there with her sullen face on refusing to vote. Only when Dermoteventually went to move on did she decide to vote, but that was too late, and rightfully so.

Cheryl was awful. Regardless of whether they're her acts she should have voted one of them off. It's in her contract to do that as a judge.

You don't know that. If the producers had wanted an answer from her Dermot would've gone to her last. She obviously was never going to choose and I don't blame her. You can't be seen to be showing favouritism to one of your own acts over the other. Nobody in their right mind would expect that.
