How can you compare this to California Gurls!?!? The Time is so much better! :lol:

 

I'm not sure if it'll get to #1, because of the time of year and everything, unless it does a Meet Me Halfway if they get an X Factor performance, and beats somebody we're thinking is a cert for #1.

I think it'll be #1 soon.

I'm guessing the BEPs single is selling purely for the fact it is the BEP - I tried to listen to the song on Youtube and it is f*cking awful - Its not really music but just a random mash of sounds

This is flying up my All Time Worst Songs chart. Quite a fitting end to what has been the $h!ttest year for mainstream music that I have ever witnessed and I've been at this lark for 23 years.

Taking a look at the poll (and knowing a bit about statistics) it looks as if everyone thinks will get top 3 at least. It WILL face the heaviest competition of the year the coming weeks though and it won't get higher than low top10 this week... so if it is to top the charts it will have to retain its popularity for at least 2 weeks (next week XF performances will grant 3 acts sales beyond BEPs reach). I guess they have a slot at XF the week after that? It will have to be a MEGA hit to stay top5 all that time and then seize the no1.

both good points! It may do a "Love You Way You Lie" and become a giant no2 (that sounded bad but i'm sure some of you agree for different reasons!) instead.

Despite the uphill struggle against XF acts who been destined for no1 and had their airplay raped for weeks etc. and think the BEPs may surprise them all and outsell the lot of them. Despite no vid, not officially released and still limited play (though not for long now i'll bet). they're a real force now. Amazing on your 6th album era and rather rare!
