How come Take That haven't surpassed Rihanna yet? They'd better do it soon as I don't want to see her remain on top!

TT's physical sales will be strong but I don't know how much difference physicals make these days.

Mmm, I don't exactly get what you mean.

The song has been performed on the X, and the song is gonna chart somewhere in the Top 200, so yeah she could still get the "record" for the lowest placing in the charts for a song after being performed on the X Factor, whatever the reasons are.

And to be honest I don't think the reason is that she said it would be available "soon". If there were any demand for it, people would download it. There have been many times in the past when the artists say "the song is out on Monday", when it's in fact already available on Itunes, and it doesn't stop people downloading it on Sunday.

I agree but if people dont think its available yet then why would they look for it to download

Oh and I guess Kylie could hold the record for the worst charting song ever for a song performed on the X Factor. Who holds the record at the mo ?

Surely Janet Jackson last year?

Also this week won't be its peak week...

I think the likley hood is that TT will over take Rihanna later today or tomorrow.

Would be interesting if Shayne managed to jump ahead of Bruno Mars?!

Also, not happy to see Cheryl falling so hard. She may stuggle to outsell Parachute at this rate!

I didnt even notice promise this down to #8 already :o lol

Come on shayne overtake bruno!

Would love rihanna to stay #1, but unlikely, and i suppose i dont mind TT song.

I think TT will do well on physicals, I would imagine TT will be ahead of Rihanna + Physicals, if Rihanna is still #1 on iTunes later on tonight.
I think Rihanna could actually stay top this week. She seems to be doing something right.

I hope so!

Either way though she's gonna have a 3rd week of amazing sales!

GAH, come on Take That :drama: JLS will be #1 next week and I don't want another Rule The World situation of it staying at #2 forever (which it will if it debuts at #2 this week as TT are on X Factor too next week)

Ridiculous for Kylie, I guess pure and simply nobody's interested in the song :( It's one of my favourites on the album but I would have NEVER picked it as a single - terrible choice. Aphrodite and Cupid Boy would have done far better...

Shayne Wards version is awful. Also, hope Rihanna stays top with Only Girl.

It $h!ts over the Flood :cheer:

Also :cheer: at Cheryl falling to 8

Truly, hand on heart ... The Flood is NOT as great as everyone is making it out to be. Sure, its a vast improvement on Greatest Day but it isn't half as good a song as RTW. I think everyone has got too wrapped up in the Robbie return and is making this out to be an 'emperor's new clothes' thing. Even I thought it would be fabulous with his return (even though I don't like him - I do appreciate he's had a lot of hits) ... but it sounds no different than a lot of Take That or Robbie William's songs of the past. It's OK but it isn't fabulous ... and (although I believe it will certainly make number 1) it wouldn't be tragedy if it didn't. Either way ... it won't hang around on the chart for nearly as long as RTW ... and quite rightly so.

How is Adele climbing up again? I didn't hear it on X-Factor last night (or Saturday) or did I?
Gutted for TT, it's their only song I've liked enough since their comeback to buy... :snif: Robbie sounds great on it. It's like he's never been away  The Rihanna song is great too, but they're both going to be blown out the water next week by a generic piece of R&B mundanity...

Apart from the dirge that was IWFL ... it's the only Take That single I haven't bought since their return.

Rebecca sang it...

That makes sense, I'm not a Rebecca fan.

i don't get or like bruno mars' longevity! how is it still at 4 while chezza has dropped to low top 10?

She has a second version of 'Promise this' charting in the top40, when combined she's still #5.
