If Take That keep falling and McFly's sales stay consistant, McFly could possibly overtake them come Sunday in the chart?! Now that would be shocking. I still doubt it though.

Shine a light is pretty weak compared to some other tracks on the album so I'm quite amazed how well it is doing. I'm just thinking how well Nowhere Left to Run would do if they release it! Its either that or That's the Truth which is very strong, too. I think the general audience would love them in the same way they seem to have taken to Shine a Light on Itunes.

Black Eyed Peas' song seems to be a very love it/ hate it type. Looks like a strong contender for the top soon. I don't actually think JLS will do as well as some people say. But then again if they have X Factor hype...

'The Time (Dirty Bit)' sounds like one of the rejects from 'The E.N.D.S.' but the record company have decided to pass it off as a new single and, unless I'm wrong, 'The Beginning' is just going to be a reissued 'The E.N.D.S.' album but with more material included.

Take That dropping as low as #7 already is a big surprise for me - thought it'd be a far more consistant selling single throughout the whole week. Like others have said, I doubt their upcoming X Factor performance is going to help the single next week. I'm sure their album will rocket to no. 1 though instead. I assume JLS and Westlife release their albums the following week? Hmm, maybe Robbie is to blame. :kink: His solo career was on a decline and was jealous of Take That's new found popularity in 2006/7. He wanted to enjoy their success and thus ** kiss kiss, shake hands ** and now the fivesome are struggling to even make #2 with their first new single together in 15 years. Lest we forget how hyped 'Shame' was and that only made #2 as well.

We also had a 2 minute silence at work today. They fired canons from Manchester Town Hall which we could hear from our office. It was a lot cheaper than the version available to buy on iTunes (I know it's for charity but...why would anyone buy two minutes of silence?!!! ).

The Beginning is a new album :P Somebody has already said that in direct response to you

Also it's 'The E.N.D', not 'The E.N.D.S'

Where is that post? :D I couldn't find it as there's been loads of discussion since I was here last night.

Oh yes, silly me. The "Energy Never Dies". :P

Where is Cee Lo combined?

He's #19, #33, #34 and #71 with the EP and album versions of both F**k and Forget You.

I found that post. Thought it was in this thread, but it's the actual 'The Time (Dirty Bit)' thread.

Singles sales are going to be absolutely massive this week. They could beat even the week when Eliza Doolittle was #12 with 33k (?) sales this summer!

I wonder if the whole top 7 could sell 50k again (as they did that week Arrs mentioned, with SHM - One at #7 selling exactly 50k)

Rihanna, Katy and Take That should all stay over 50k, BEP could climb over 50k and there are new entries from JLS, Far*East Movement and Westlife, the first 2 should easily do 50k but it's less certain for Westlife... anything else that could potentially do 50k?

EDIT: LTWYL pt. II from 'Loud' MIGHT, ay a push, get 50k but it's very unlikely... the new Kanye song is released too but that, again stands very little chance of getting near 50k, should get top 20 though with fairly good sales

Its playlisted on r1 but i don't think it has a video yet.

Thanks, is it A, B or C listed?

Is it on the top 50 tv or radio play?

Didn't notice Inna top 40 :o Maybe it can be a hit after all... we might even have the album :o

iTunes Popularity Bars

McFly starting to fall now, surprised it's taken them this long to be honest, hopefully they can get a second week top 10 but I have a feeling they'll drop out anyway...

The top 6 will almost certainly be Rihanna, TT, JLS, Like A G6, Katy and BEP in some order, Westlife should easily be top 10 with XF, and the other three spots are likely to be filled with Alexis, Bruno and Mike...

I'd hope McFly can stay top 10 and keep out Mike as 5 weeks top 10 is far too much for CTM :puke:

Small Tuesday, Thursday midweeks and current iTunes state comparison (don't count separate versions):

Take That: #1, #2, #7 (Tuesday mids, Thursday mids and iTunes current respectively)

Rihanna: #2, #1, #1

McFly: #3, #3, #5

Shayne Ward: #4, #6, #13

Katy Perry: #5, #4, #2

Adele: #6, #5, #10

Cheryl: #7, #7, #9

Bruno: #8, #8, #6

Mike Posner: #9, #9, #8

Alexis Jordan: #10, #10, #4 (!)

Pink: #12, #12, #11

BEP: n/c, #19, #3

Very, very messed up, especially for Alexis!

At least shayne strong at #13.

P!nk looks set to peak at #11 officially, maybe even #12. Nelly may overtake him soon.

BEP are #2 soon :o

Cooler Then Me is one of my favourite songs in a while B) Glad its been around so long and doesnt look like going very far!

Agree with your top 10 predictions but I think Mcfly will stay top 10 as they are on CIN on Friday too and this is showing far more staying power than their previous singles/

Mcfly now falling on I Tunes but they have done well for a band that doesn't really do well on Downloads.

The next single is being picked by the Fans

I don't think McFly have actually fallen in terms of sales, its just that others around them have gained. Judging by the popbars anyway. Don't look much different when you look at Katy Perry - the distance is pretty much the same as it was before.

Why has Alexis started gaining?!
