Love how the USA music is owning UK crap again <33333333

I do love UK music, but it is interesting how nearly all the #1s this year that are UK songs plummeted down the charts (Once, Shout, Dirtee Disco, Everybody Hurts, Green Light, The Club is Alive), whilst the songs that climbed to their peak, and hung around for ages (e.g. Airplanes, Telephone, OMG, Club Can't Handle Me) are all from the US.

I think that's more to with the market than the quality of the songs though. UK songs are often held back so they get a large proportion of their sales packed into one weeks, whilst a lot of US songs are just put on iTunes like whenever. However, Green Light, for example, is a lot better than many of the US tracks.

It's like how people were saying Rihanna would outsell Cheryl. Of course she would. That sort of thing has happened dozens of times this year, where the UK song falls down iTunes at a fast pace, whilst the US song is still in the top 10 a month later.

Shayne is going to drop awful next week !!

He looks like he's away to drop to 18th tommorow as he's losing bars and the others are gaining as it's close beteen 13-18

Woah! I've just been looking at other countries iTunes, and BEPs seem to be top 10 almost everywhere in the entire world! :o
Black Eyed Peas, are always guranteed to have a hit no matter if they produced the worst track of the year(arguably this one is in the top 50)

I'd list it as one of the best 50 tracks of the year, probably.

But yeah, they sure have made a name for themselves haven't they! But I guess when you come out with smash hit, time and time again, people will be interested in your new songs.

This has got a very marmite reception from the public though. As opposed to I Gotta Feeling, which everybody sort of liked, but few people seemed to love.

Broken Arrow [77/620] [90/1000+]

Use Somebody [132] [220]

Can't Make This Over [379] [1000+]

Cry Me Out [245] [630]

Mama Do [477] [980]

Turn It Up Louder [27] [99]

Boom Boom Pow part 2... I wouldn't be too happy if this took US no.1 for record amounts of weeks...

they have really rocked the i tunes charts the last 2 days. and i really like that the song got a "worldwide" release on the same day, especially that the big countries UK & Germany have not been excluded (as it happend often with big songs this year). They just got to No 1 in Germany and even surpassed the X-Factor-Winner's song that was just out 1 day ago :o . This song is going to be massive - and i really like it now

I have BEP-3

Mcfly back to 4

Take that Climbing to 6

I had Take That down to 8.

On another matter ... has RTW been played on TV anywhere recently? It's been hovering around the 150 mark for a few days now (went up as high as 120 yesterday but has now settled at 135). I'm sure it'll be featured somehow on this weekend's program so expect it to go inside the 100 again.

Inna top 40? Wow I maybe this song will get a release after all. I didn't even think it would be reach top 40 or a basis or any for that matter.

The X factor i think.

I now have Mcfly at 5 and Take That at 9

Mcfly #5

Take That #9

what's with alexis climb back to 4?

Expect Take That to be around 12th tommorow and Shayne to be around 18th.. Take that's own fault shouldn't have moved date and think to be smart and underestimate rihanna.
whats going on with the flood? did greatest day fall this fast on its first week?
