November 8, 201014 yr I think people are forgetting that LTWYL will get a big boost when it comes to Rihanna releasing her album. Part II could well shoot straight into the top 5 on cherrypicking alone and the original which get some benefit, pushing it back itno the top 20 probably. I have little doubt Bruno will clear LTWYL's current total but it's probably going to add another 100k which makes it that much harder to be caught.

November 9, 201014 yr Author Don't know if anyone will remember this but on one of the musicweek reports earlier this year, i remember love the way you lie just falling short of 8 weeks of sales at least 50,000. I know only one song whcih has done it in the 2000's, "whole again" by atomic kitten but does any1 think that "just the way you are" could do it? Well last week was its 7th >50k, however its sales fell from 73k to ~54k, so an 8th doesn't look promising.
November 9, 201014 yr Author Yeah, who says hip hop songs are frontloaded nowadays. But yes, I do also remember reading that. I hope Just the Way You Are doesn't do it, but maybe it will. Also, does anybody think Airplanes could overtake OMG and Fireflies before year-end? Fireflies yes, OMG no.

Not at all surprised by Iris, Low, Lose Yourself, Eye of the Tiger, Sweet Child O' Mine or One Day Like This, as they seem to be always in the top 300 on iTunes. Hot N Cold surprised me. I guess since Katy Perry has been so popular this year, people are going back and buying her older songs. I bet it sold a lot the week she judged on X Factor too. Kids, I suspect would've sold quite a bit when Opposite of Adults was popular. Don't have a clue how Human or Candy are there though. :o
November 9, 201014 yr I'm sure Invaders Must Die can't be far off the top 10 non-T75 songs of the year, it's almost a permanent song in the iTunes top 300. I say almost as it does sometimes drop out - it's not in there right now for example - but most of the time, at least when I check, it is in there. Wow, that's interesting. Not at all surprised by Iris, Low, Lose Yourself, Eye of the Tiger, Sweet Child O' Mine or One Day Like This, as they seem to be always in the top 300 on iTunes. Hot N Cold surprised me. Don't have a clue how Human or Candy are there though. :o Hot N Cold recharted at #90 the week 'Teenage Dream' was released but has been outside the top 100 the rest of the year, it's just a consistent seller anyway Human is also just a consistent seller (well, it was anyway, dunno if it still is) and Candy is there because it was re-released and spent an extra 5 weeks in the top 100 Edited November 9, 201014 yr by Bray

Can't really imagine the others happening. One Day Like This isn't mainstream enough. And don't get me started on the likes of Low and Lose Yourself. However, I saw a video the other day of Taylor Swift singing Lose Yourself, so I guess anything can happen.
