November 11, 201014 yr I must be the only PSB loon, I've got every single of theirs on all formats, even the old cassette singles
November 11, 201014 yr I dont loon over anyone. I buy something if it has a song I dont own. I dont bother with live or remix stuff.
November 11, 201014 yr Author I must be the only PSB loon, I've got every single of theirs on all formats, even the old cassette singles  I have all their albums, and most of their CD singles, but yeah, I don't go that far  Although I bet you haven't got the original West End Girls 12" on Epic :funky:
November 11, 201014 yr Although I bet you haven't got the original West End Girls 12" on Epic :funky: :( Sadly not
November 11, 201014 yr I'll put a thing in my sig later. PSBs aren't indie, but some of their material is definitely alternative. I'll do it tonight. They're not indie but a lot of indie fans like them. After all, they wouldn't have been have headlined Glastonbury this year if indie fans hated them

November 16, 201014 yr Author How did I forget Pandemonium? :drama: Should definitely have been a single. I'm thinking of keeping this open to the end of the week now, I haven't had a chance to post in the retro or indie forums, I keep meaning to but I'm worried they'd think I was spamming...

I'm thinking of keeping this open to the end of the week now, I haven't had a chance to post in the retro or indie forums, I keep meaning to but I'm worried they'd think I was spamming... Agreed. Although I did like all three singles from Yes and really loved Beautiful People and The Way It Used To Be too...I possibly would have picked Pandemonium as a single over Did You See Me Coming though...I know All Over The World was cheesy but I really think it worked well with the xmas mix, I thought it sounded quite festive the first time I heard it, and the added production only helped the cause! Out of interest, will you include It Doesn't Often Snow At Christmas in the next part of the rate seeing as it was technically one of the lead tracks on the EP? If not, I should have nominated that!

Yeah, that sounds about right, although I was never THAT into The Way It Used To Be. After The Event was completely wasted as a a B-side, I should have mentioned that (feel free to change yourse if you want btw). On the other hand I always thought that AOTW would be a huge #1 hit... in Summer  I liked it a lot as a Christmas single, but it seemed incongruous. And yep, I'll be listing all the double a-sides seperately in the next round (that's how I see the Christmas EP, it's really a two song wonder), it's weird how many there have been since 1995 when there were none before...

Huge #1 hit? Pet Shop Boys? As if the UK music buyers would ever show anything resembling good taste these days :drama: Ok cool, I won't edit mine then.
November 17, 201014 yr The fantastic further listening versions of their albums are currently only £4.99 on itunes. They're a bargain really if you're interested in any particular era, it's one of the few expanded re-issue sets of albums that truly give you a bigger picture of the band and also house some great tracks not found on the original editions. They're even cheaper if you've ever bought any of the tracks as they're still eligible for the complete my album feature. ^_^
November 18, 201014 yr Author Any more rates please? I'll be announcing the results of part 1 tomorrow.
November 18, 201014 yr Author Actually we've only had 9 :o rates, I might hold off until we have at least 10...

November 18, 201014 yr Author Thanks guys. John, could you fill in your rate please? You can hear all the songs on Youtube. I'd just prefer to make this total points rather than average though.
November 25, 201014 yr Author Sorry, I know I'm WAY overdue on this. I won't be able to do results until Monday so if you have any more rates feel free to post them before then. Also would you like me to post the results of this part before starting part 2, or should i start that now? Let me know :)
