if you respect your f***ing soldiers so much maybe you wouldnt let them go and get killed in the illegal war that these Muslims are protesting against.

Exactly... Some people have pretty odd ideas as to what constitutes "respect"...

Is the "gibberment" (whether UK or US) respecting soldiers by lying to them, sending them off to stupid wars, using them as convienient scapegoats when the sh"t hits the fan (eg, Abu Ghraib), and, then, just to add insult to injury, doesn't even equip them properly....?

Yeah, really fukking "respectful" I must say...... <_<

It's not even occured to these Facebook Fascists that the Anti-War lot don't actually WANT to see soldiers being killed in Iraq or Afghanistan, we want them to get the hell out of there.....

Are you serious. you agree with these scum. My dad is in the British Army and has served in Afghanistan and Iraq. So naturally these EXTREMISTS, make me sick. Arrest and deport the MINORITY who took part. And if they are British lock them up. This country needs to man up and stop giving into these hate campaigns. Do it in Afghanistan or a place where you wont be the national enemy.

Yes I am serious, I don't support war, I don't support that we send all these soldiers (and STILL send all these soldiers) to their deaths in Afghanistan, as Grimly said, millions Marched on the streets against the war and the government has done f*** all about it, the whole fact that your dad was in the army and sent to Afghanistan should make you f***ing angry rather than call people who are actually trying to do something about it scum.

Here's my two-cents worth...

Was it right for this group to do what they did yesterday..? No, it wasn't, it WAS in bad taste, but it was also borne out of a sense of anger and frustration, and just why the fukk is it that our Politicians decided to include Afghanistan and Iraq in ARMISTICE DAY anyway????? "Armistice" means 'a cessation of war and hostilities' that certainly doesn't apply to the ongoing situations in Afghanistan and Iraq, the bloody Govt has 364 other days in the year to designate a sort of "Help For Heroes/Afghanistan, Iraq" commemoration, it DOES NOT have to hijack the memorial to the dead of the two World Wars in order to try and legitimise its crusades, in fact, I find it morally reprehensible that Blair and Brown did this to begin with... My Grandfather fought in WW2, and he'd be fukkin' LIVID by what the govt has done, he was none too impressed when Thatcher, back in the day, decided to include the Falklands in Armistice Day...

And, put it this way, would this action even have happened first place if our bloody "Gibberment" had actually listened to the 2 million people who marched peacefully against the war in 2003? Well, no, it wouldn't... So, when Govt doesn't listen to peaceful, rational protest and the countless online petitions that have been done, then what are people supposed to do? Militant action such as this shouldn't HAVE to happen, it's a pretty damning indictment of our "democratic" process that something like this has happened because what it is, is basically symptomatic of a break-down in democracy, and a refusal on the Govt's part to listen to the voice of the people. Similarly, you had the Student riot on Wednesday which was also borne out of frustration and anger...

THIS.

Exactly, maybe Kaisa needs to understand this.

Oh Santa Claus, I've been wrestling with that all day. It's events like these that make me remember why I hate Britain so much.

Look under the comments, then say you are proud to be British. PRETTY DAMN HARD.

Spot on.. Believe it or not, I've read even worse ones than that in another page... You would think Farcebook would have some sort of policy on this type of thing, I mean, after all, they pulled the Raoul Moat "tribute page" quick enough didn't they, and frankly, I'd call that less offensive.....

If these Muslim extremists hate Britain so much why do they live here? Oh right, because they get benefits

To be honest, I agree with the Facebook comments and will add to it.

Why should these extremists get away scott free. Surely this would count as a hate crime?

And I wonder how long I would last if I was in Iraq or Afghanistand protesting against their religion. Not long.

That's all Im saying on this because frankly I know I am right and all the crazy liberal Buzzjack members here will spin these crazy extremists in a good light blaming the Government instead as they always do. It's never the extremists fault is it? If it wasn't for the government most of the them probably wouldn't have been allowed here. I hope they remember that.

No, the page starter asked for it to be pulled as she'd been on the radio and had threats made against her. Facebook never took it down without her asking.

Lol, please find one post in here that has shown the extremists in a good light or said what they did was right? No, because there isn't one. I see you're one of the narrow minded people who see people saying "just because a few extremists did this is not representative of the islam religion" as actually saying "I HATE BRITAIN, IM A P**I WANNABE!" (still cant get over how rofl it was that I got called that)

Read this article Shelli: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/10498482

And that's why I think Britain is a better place to live than Iraq or Afghanistan. We have free speech, other countries don't.

To quote Voltaire "I do not agree with what you have to say, but I'll defend to the death your right to say it. "

Of course the timing of this demonstration was crass and offensive to many people. However you shouldn't assume that a few dozen extremists represent anyone but themselves.

If these Muslim extremists hate Britain so much why do they live here? Oh right, because they get benefits

erm, please direct me to where they say they hate Britain, and to where it says that they arent British citizens, and to where it says that they are claiming benefits rather than working?

stop bull$h!tting and assuming things that are not true.

You are so braindead, it's shocking.

You agree with the comments that all Muslims are the same and should all be deported, because that is everything on the page. It's bloody Daily Star and Daily Mail wonderland.

Every comment is F***** 'I'm not racist but'

<_<

F***TARDS

EXACTLY. They are protesting against the war, not the bloody nation.

What they did was wrong IMO, but it was due to the timing, this and the London protests have shown the coalition's feeble respectability, and the cuts haven't even dug in yet. It's gonna anarchy, uprisings, soon...

Excuse me you prat, but I think you'll find that a lot of "muslims" are actually born and bred in the UK, and as such, are FULLY FUKKIN' ENTITLED to their opinions as British citizens... i'm pretty fukkin' ashamed by the way this country has acted over the past decade, fighting illegal wars, killing tens of thousands of totally innocent people IN MY NAME, lying to the populace about it, sucking the dicks of Bush and the Republicans, and now you have David Cameron re-writing our history recently to say that in 1940 we were America's "junior partner", thus kind of ignoring the whole "Battle of Britain" thing when we DIDN'T NEED THE YANKS to sort our the Luftwaffe..... <_<

I guess I should just "fukk off" too then....

Spot on...

I get absolutely sick to the back teeth of these types of comments myself....

Really? Interesting... TBH, I wasn't so bothered by the Raoul Moat page, not really saying I agreed with the tone of it, but, I still think questions needed to be asked about how the police conducted themselves during the whole thing, especially with regards to the use of illegal tasers....

''WTF ARE THEM MUSLIMS DOING!?

BURNING POPPIES!! DISTURBING THE 2 MINUTE SILENCE? EERRRRRRRRR GET BACK TO THE AIRPORT IF YOU DONT LIKE HOW BRITAIN GOES!!!''

I pick my friends wisely, but after one of them says this, they get de-friended and reported. And this one of the less conservative views...

Yes, Facebook said they'd never give in to public opinion over free speech and refused to close the page. As it's hosted in the US no-one in the UK could force them to remove it. They did remove it when the page starter requested it though, as they do with any such request.
