Thanks. I got the sales from a poster on Ukmix but obviously it was inflated. Still fantastic sales - barely any dip in sales compared to Tue :D

less than 50k a day means around 500k maximum at the end of the week. . .

it will do allot on saturday probably 100K+

it will do atleast 550K+ by the end of the week. but not what some people were saying 700k+

less than 50k a day means around 500k maximum at the end of the week. . .

For starters - the album will likely sell at least 100K on Saturday alone - so even if it does sell 50K today and 50K tomorrow - sales will still be WELL over 500K.

It is very much following in the trend of The Circus - actually doing better in terms of day by day decreases. It remains highly likely sales will exceed 600K.

Btw Charis - you never did get around to telling us your thoughts on these insanely huge sales? In all likely hood it will end up selling not twice but three times the amount you predicted. :D

Saturday sales should clear 100k plus quite easily, most people go out shopping, as they work during the week. Also buy them as Xmas presents, should clear 450k plus in total. This is the time of the year when album sales usually go thru the roof, I think the album will settle for at least 2 to 3 weeks at #1 the most, the biggest threat will be MJ's new album, saying that MJ's new album could be a hit or a miss.

It will still do about 600K. I don't remember (m)any people here suggesting it would do 700K anyway. Yet it is sure 600K is closer to 700K than 200K

My predictions (even though they were merely predicions based on previous sales and the hype for both acts) were quite accurate after all. :D

If the album does 300K+ on 2nd week and 200K 3rd week I demand the 'Harry Potter' oscar.

I still wonder whether sales will slow down somewhat when SOME (excluding Jupiter who is better than 2X15 B) ) ladies over 30 discover it is an album with a different direction or not. I guess it will start to appeal to 'non-fans' by that time...

I was quing for ages yesterday in hmv behind a line of menapause with take thats new album, jeeze all i wanted was

a few dvds! I think this will be a big seller, though i hope it doesn't beat the oasis first week sales.

I looked at the Reviews of 'Progress' on Amazon.uk.

Quite a large percentage of buyers are only giving it

1 or 2 Stars, out of 5. They say that they don't like

it, compared to Take That's previous 2 Albums, & that

it is more like a Robbie Album, which Take That join

in with, on some of the Tracks.

Out of the 88 Reviewers, (so far), 40 have given it 5 Stars,

10 - 2 Stars, & 11 - 3 Stars. But - 10 have given it just 2

Stars, & 17 have awarded just 1 Star. That means that 11

people think it is just 'OK', (3 Stars), & 27 Reviewers don't

like it at all - and they say they usually love Take That.

Are these reviews only from peple who buy? You know how these things with hype work... A lot of TT or Robbie haters or even Robbie fans that want him solo and TT fans that don't want Robbie back , even people annoyed with the hype would submit such reviews. I think people can add their review just by browsing the album rather than buying it so they find a good chance to be as rude as they can. WHO WOULD BUY an album he rates 1/5 really? They say they usually love TT just to pretend they are objective and not preoccupied, I don't believe them anyway. However a part of TT fanbase could be honestly disapointed (not just hating Rob) since it is true this album is VERY different (and Robbie-influenced).

Interestingly, this is the 1st TT i've thought seriously of buying. I liked the new sound on the previews. That said, i did see Beautiful World for £3 the other day and considered it as i like Patience. What annoys me is the Rule The World version is super rare now, as i quite like that too, though not sure about the rest of it.

They look set for 500-600k, but judging the way The Circus started and progressed throughout the week and the rather meteoric rise to that over 400k figure after the last mids, i still think this could potentially do more, though Circus was released a couple of weeks closer to Xmas which may have had a bearing on that

The best song on BW is Reach Out ... the song that SHOULD have been their third single instead of the dire I'd Wait For Life.

Kath

Ya i agree that reach out should have definitly been a single instead of id wait for life, beautiful world is a good album and i would also recommend the circus (best take that album ever in my opinion) and with selling so cheap it would be a great time to buy them.
though i hope it doesn't beat the oasis first week sales.

   at all those Pestlife fans. Jealous much?

Phenomenal sales for Take That regardless whether they could beat Oasis or not.Who would have thought it 5 years ago? They became one of the biggest bands EVER.

eh? hardly mate, who would wanna waste their life thinking about stupid things like

boybands beating each other? Do not jump to conclusions please.

Maybe your one of those crazy women in the que in front of me at hmv who should be

re-applying their HRT patches instead of buying music. lol

Amazon.uk will be selling 'Progress' for just £1, from Monday 22nd November

onwards. The 'Deal' will last all next Week, by the looks of things. They are

also going to be Selling 'The Gift', by Susan Boyle, for £1.

And - yes - the Sales of both £1 Albums, will count towards the UK Album

Chart. The OCC go by how much the Retailer pays for a CD - not how much

the Customer pays for it. As long as Amazon pay the correct Price, for the CD's,

they can sell them for 1p, if they like.

Amazon.uk are calling next Week, 'Black Friday Deals Week'.
