Got the album in the post today and was reminded how much I love it, I've not listened to it in a long time <3 'i' is so good, particularly lyrically and the words are even more relevant 11 years later.

I really enjoyed a lot of the new tracks too, I agree that most of them probably weren't strong enough for the main album so they're fair leftovers but I really love the songs Head, Crash and Pipe Dreams! Quite liking that alternative version of Lucky Day too, and I completely forgot about Disco, Blisters And A Comedown and the John Prescott reference

if anyone wants mp3s let me know... bit confused why no-ones bothered to leak it besides that youtuber.

Presumably because it will compromise sales of a passion project from a small business. It’s not like it’s a major widespread release where leaking it will cause minimal harm.

Unfortunately none of these formats count towards the charts anyway, so it doesn't really matter in that sense when the releases happen. The person behind Plastic Pop said that because he does his own distribution, it means they're not chart eligible.

It seems Plastic Pop's releases are now chart eligible: https://www.facebook.com/plasticpoprecs/pos...458769662638748

Indeed, Sophie's vinyl made the chart last week: https://www.facebook.com/plasticpoprecs/pos...460653499117031

Does that mean if any of them made it into the main chart, they'd be considered as separate entries rather than re-entries of the original?

'Make a Scene' was a re-entry on the independent album chart the week of the vinyl release so I'm guessing the sales are being combined.

Hopefully it’s very early on in the summer :drama: It’s been 5 months since the pre-orders went up. Potentially another 3-5 months to go?
The only thing is it might help build up the pre orders a bit more although in reality it will have a very limited fan base who will be buying it.

I'm hopeful we don't have to wait that long: those who ordered a bundle including a signed print are informed to give/confirm/change how they would like to adressed until 31st March, so maybe we can expect delivery sometime in May.

Fingers crossed!

Any news on this vinyl yet. Not having a date still is a little bit poor, independent business or not …
