At a huge cost of £500million or something wasn't this deal to get the catalogue on there?

Big investment. I don't know how well it will pay off in the long run.

The bookies have giving good odds of a song going to #1 and them being on top for Christmas Day.

I just can't see it though, they'll have a temporary effect but there's so much songs and albums to choose from the 'demand' is spread thin perhaps.

The bookies are bound to give odds on such things as it's easy money for them. Unless Paul or Ringo die suddenly there's no chance of a Beatles song selling the few hundred thousand copies needed for the Christmas number one.

The 'X Factor' is doing a Beatles Themed Night, in Saturday's

Show - 20th November.

Here are the Songs that the 8 Acts will Sing:,

Notice that 'Hippy Hippy Shake' is suddenly a Beatles Song.

They covered in in 1963. It is actually from 1959. The UK

best knows it from the Swinging Blue Jeans No.2 Hit.

And, 'Imagine' is now a Beatles Song too.

Wagner will murder his Beatles Medley. Just as he did

with his Elvis Presley one, a few Weeks ago.

Cher tends to add a RAP to nearly every Song she 'Sings'.

Katie can't 'Sing' either.

Wagner - 'Viva Las Vegas/The Wonder Of You'

Listen & weep!

"Experts say several Beatles hits could make the Top Ten."

"By last night The Beatles had 13 of iTunes' Top 20 albums. Abbey Road was most popular at No6 with The White Album at No7."

Bollocks, where exactly are they getting this from? Oh wait, it's The Sun, that explains it.
