I thought they'd want to release singles as quickly as possible. There's a fair chance they'll all have fallen out again by the new year

I wonder if they are all really friends again or if it's all just a cunning ruse to obtain world domination

As Bill Hicks would say 'it's just a ride'.

I'm fascinated by all the publicity and hype to be honest. I honestly don't know what to believe about friendships ... I just think Rob and Gary are so savvy as business-men - I don't know whether to believe the bull$h!t they spin. I honestly do think that Mark has a genuine affection for Rob ... but to me ... it seems like an 'owner / pet' relationship. Mark's the pet.

It doesn't really matter though ... when they put on a show the way they do. I'm sure there are other multi-million selling bands out there that hate the sight of each other.

Speaking of world domination that did you hear Terry saying they were the biggest band on the planet. :o

I do think they are all mates again but the real work hasn't even begun (the tour) so it will only be then really when their friendship is tested. -_-

I am sure the new single will be announced soon and be on radio next month. The Flood has been around for ages now so a new single would be good soon. Kidz is the best choice imo - gives a good taster of the sound of the album as a whole and it's Mark Owen on lead with Rob on the chorus. That or SOS. Wait is good but I don't think it is suitable for a second single or single at all - they voted for it during the documentary though. <_<

I would like to believe they are friends or for better saying growing as friends, maybe its me being niave but the documentary and all performances to me potrayed they are getting on well and also i could not see robbie or the 4 members of take that putting themselves through hell for no reason. Neither needed each other career wise so i cant see then inflicting pain on themselves for no reason. So i genuinly believe they are getting on but at the same time building up a close friendship after all that has happened wont come over night.

Yes. A bit to go yet I think.

Unless of course 'The Planet' now means UK and Ireland...

Still, according to Simon Scowl, Wrong Direction are the biggest band since the Beatles so hey, I'll believe anything

I would like to see the second singke come out before Xmas, I always feel they leave too long a gap & then the songs are murdered to death on the radio & by the time they are released we are sick to death of them....

i would like SOS or Kidz ...what's the betting it will be WAIT

They might make it back on the XF on the final night, after all Robbie was on there twice last year

I cant see a 2nd single coming out this year as the album will sell bucket loads from now right through to the end of christmas, i can see a single coming around feb to push album sales. With the album selling so strong i cant see it having a very long chart run though but that is to be expected, probably about 50 weeks in total i would say but i could be very wrong.

Id love another x factor performnace though and if they do it will be interesting to see what they will perform.

Latest Itunes updates

The Flood is - #3, #31 & #88

Never Forget - #68

Those performance will have a very good effect on albums sales tomorrow for Progress, TT's Ultimate Collection and Rob's GH too.

What do you reckon final UK sales will be on Sunday? Or do the charts only count sales up to the Saturday?

I predict between 550-600K. There is still a possibility it will sell over 600K but I think around 590K is more realistic. It won't beat Oasis but will beat Coldplay as the second fastest seller ever.

And yes, sales for Saturday count. It's usually, especially at this time of year, the biggest sales day after Monday. It will sell over 100K tomorrow imo.

Do Sunday sales count for the following week then?

Yes and considering it will be sold on Amazon for only £1 from Monday to next Friday sales next week could mean it passes 1M by next Sunday :o

The amazon offer will definitly have a huge effect on sales and will guarantee take that to stay at number 1 again next week i think.
can I just say that Never Forget is my alltime favourite song (of any artist or band)! The performance yesterday was incredible. I'm so in love with TT these days! The Flood was also incredible. The songs wins so much when they perform it live. It's magical. I hope Never Forget makes the biritsh chart this or next week again.

I can see a Robbie& TT themed week coming... ;)

Or finalists choose a Robbie and a TT classic

Surely albums selling for £1 won't count towards the chart though. It's not really fair unless Amazon are doing it for a host of other artists too (I know they're doing the same for Susan Boyle but I've not heard of any others.)

Robbie was nervous in X Factor performance, but it was like ten times stronger than this one. I guess it is because that one was the first and something special. I was talking about The Flood. Now, about Never Forget, nothing special, I like how Robbie did his part, I'm still not a fan of Howard and Jason did look beautiful, but he sang his line really, really bad. Couldn't believe it with my ears when I heard... Also, Mark did his part nice, and I already said this, but with every performance I respect Gary more and more.

They will!

I wonder, how many albums are in stoke? Is there any limit or not?

They'll perform in XFactor Italy next week... Tuesday I believe :cheer:
