I had a dream last night that it was the end of June and blink-182 was only two weeks away. I think I need to get out more.

totally forgot i got this moved out of the blink forum. anyway another Birmingham date and a Liverpool date got added this week:

Friday July 1 - Birmingham NIA

Monday July 4 - Liverpool Echo Arena

Thursday July 7 - Sheffield Motorpoint Arena

Friday July 8 - Manchester MEN Arena

Tuesday July 12 - Newcastle Arena

Wednesday July 13 - Nottingham Arena

Friday July 15 - Birmingham LG Arena

Saturday July 16 - Cardiff International Arena

Monday July 18 - London o2 Arena

Tuesday July 19 London o2 Arena

pretty amazing if you think these are all 15,000+ venue, I know the o2 is 20,000 and MEN is 23,000. considering they are all basically sold out, and all basically sold out straight away, and they havent released anything new since 2003, this is pretty amazing that they have sold about 200,000 tickets, which is also about the same amount of people who saw them at Reading and Leeds this year. wow.

oh and due to a gap in the tour and no Scotland dates they are being rumoured for T in the Park. and also for Sonisphere, but I can't see them playing Soni.

Odd that YMAS are supporting. Thought All Time Low would have been far more likely, especially given Mark was in the video for "Weightless"... Would have been better as well.

YMAS probaly cheaper due to being from the UK.

All Time Low would be just as bad.

I can't believe America got Weezer and we get $h!t like You Me At Six.

  • Author
they just confirmed for Oxegen. which pretty much confirms T in the Park tbh.

f*** me Oxygen looks amazing this year.

also, ym@6 are not that bad...they're obvs not Weezer but they're pretty massive now. not to everyones taste, but i do actually shamefully love them.

Really pumped now that my tickets arrived this morning! (not designed though D; Booo) but it's starting to hit me a bit more now!

rescheduled. ffs.

FROM MARK, TOM AND TRAVIS: It is with heavy hearts that we have to announce our planned 2011 European Summer tour has been rescheduled. When we booked the tour last year, we were confident that we would have the new album out before the Summer. Turns out wewere mistaken as the album is taking longer than we thought and won't be outtill later this year. We hoped we wouldhave some new songs to play rather than do another 'greatest hits tour' whichyou all saw last Summer. As much as weknow our fans would be cool with that, we feel that we owe you guys somethingnew when you spend your money to come see us. Frankly, it's what needs tocontinue for us to remain vital. Thethree of us are working very hard to do what we set out to do when were-formed...get a new blink-182 album recorded. Apologies to all of our fans who have bought tickets and were lookingforward to the Summer shows but we'll be back soon with the rescheduled datesin Summer 2012, have a new album out and be able to play new songs for you all. Thanks for all of the continued support and understanding. The rescheduled dates are on our website (www.blink182.com) and are listed below.

WTF!!?

Sorry to sound dumb or whatever, but the tickets I have will still be alright to use next year, yes?! Or do I have to re-apply?

  • Author

you me at six will not be on the tour in 2012!

(yay)

  • 1 month later...

And now Blink have announced a US tour in July sponsored by Honda.

Seriously, I have lost all respect I had for that band now. I'm selling my ticket and they can go f*** themselves. They've shat on the fans too much all for a bit of money in their pockets.

Lol, to say that they weren't going to tour this year because they wanted to perform new material and then go on tour anyway is a bit hypocritical no?
  • Author

they have f***ed over the European fans big time on this one. i'm looking forward to seeing blink in a smaller venues next time they tour here because they wont be able to shift the arena tickets anymore.

did anyone watch their annoucement video? Tom looked really pissed off.

  • 1 month later...
would have seen them at sheffield arena if they dident sell out in 10 minutes :(
